Across the dark is a lot more progressive. Not saying that is a bad thing at all, I actually prefer Insomnium when they're progressive death rather than melodic death.

With elements of metalcore. I don't consider them to be pure metalcore, but they still suck.

If that's some kinda crack at them, I don't get it. cuz Vic is kind of a ripoff of Eddie?

Doesn't Chuck's voice sound even more awesome on that album? I love it.

He's saying Megadeth is a Metallica tribute band that sounds better than Metallica these days. I don't think he realized you were talking about Metallica tribute band vocalists sounding better than Hetfield.

Remember when we heard that Slayer was gonna make a music video based off of the song 'Playing With Dolls'? And how we all thought "LOLwut they're basing it off of THIS piece of shit?".

Have any of you seen it yet? It's been fucking with my head ever since I watched it. Very well done.

We all know Trivium are a better Metallica tribute band.

Was that album meant to be good? I listened to that song and World Painted Blood and thought they were utter shit. I'm surprised at the praise it got, unless I didn't hear the better tracks. Hell, it even got away with good reviews on MA.

Mustaine's vocals on Symphony of Destruction sound more than a little like Hetfield. I think at that stage, most people would have forgotten about grudges borne over 10 years previous when Mustaine was fired from Metallica, but I personally believe that some of his vocal slots are reference to his time with Metallica and the fact that he still hasn't forgiven them.

Basically, Mustaine hates Hetfield, because they're too similar.

It was alright, problem is it's just like every other album since 1994. It is still pretty thrash, but it isn't able to hold big interest after you hear the same tremelo picking, blastbeat drumming, and high pitched yelling for 15 minutes. Thats not to say it wasn't good, sometimes I even got vibes from Reign in Blood. But unless you love Slayer's style with passion, it may not do it for you.

I think a while back we were talking about ridiculous song lengths. Well I found the winner, Bull of Heaven. Like a Wall in Which an Insect Lives and Gnaws clocks in at 50000 hours and 3.9 Terabytes. If any of you can listen to it the whole way through I will give you everything I have to my name. If you want something more reasonable you could try Blurred With Tears and Suffering Beyond Hope, which is a much smaller 4724 hours and 380 Gigabytes.

I have quite a bit of music and video games paraphernalia, and in the 5.7 years it would take you to listen to that track I'm sure I will have acquired much more interesting stuff.
