Origin... Found them on Pandora on my Aborted channel, I think. I swear I can't fall asleep at night these days until I listen to Finite off Antithesis.

Every single of their albums has a unique sound while staying in the specific type of sound you will only find on an Origin album :)

On the album Antithesis the best three tracks are Finite, Antithesis and The Aftermath. If you ever get a chance to listen to some stuff from Echoes Of Decimation, I would suggest you listen to Reciprocal, Endless Cure and The Burner. These three tracks are very short, but will kick your ass like no other band could.

So, like, lol. Abigail Williams... Their vocalist is not going to be able to speak in like, four years.

I was them live, can't believe this guy can scream like this every night he's on stage when they are touring. They will also release their next album on my birthday, September 28.

Wow, if that's the case, I'll have to see them live the next (and possibly last) time they come to the UK.

Well, they've put out more than enough albums, and I don't see them being able to come up with much more together.

I like The Sword, they are good at what they do.

I agree. The Sword are great, and I have a lot of good memories where their music is the soundtrack. My friends and I would drive off campus for lunch during school blasting their music.

I can't really get into The Sword, they're kinda boring.

Maybe i'd appreciate them more if I saw them live or smoked weed.

THe highest priced ticket for the St. Paul show is 70 bucks American and I say that's a lot, the cheap seats are 40. Luckily I can get a discount through my neighbor so the price should be closer to 35 bucks.
Which brings up a good question: What is the most you would pay for a concert ticket, and why?

Depends, NOT COUNTING FESTIVALS these are the most expensive shows i've gone to and why:

Back in june I saw Scorpions for 95 bucks. Why? Because it's their last ever world tour and I wanted a fucking barrier spot for them instead of a nose bleed spot, and that's just what I got!

In august i'll be seeing Slayer, Megadeth and Testament for 64 bucks. Why? BEcause I ordered my ticket back when the tour was supposed to be in february. If I had ANY idea then that there's the possibility of the big four touring together in the US in a year or two I never would've done it.

Last month I saw Dream Theater and Charred Walls Of The Damned on one of DT's off nights from the tour with Iron Maiden - it was 40 bucks. Why? It's my first dream theater show, it's actually at a general standing show and compared to the 105 bucks of the NYC show of them with iron maiden it's a bargain IMO.

Helloween + Gamma Ray in 2008 for 35 bucks....BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING HELLOWEEN AND GAMMA RAY.

Nightwish + Sonata Arctica in 2008 for 35 bucks...I was waaaaaaaay more into Sonata Arctica then, also I wasn't aware that Nightwish had a new singer and one that blows.

I'm sure there have been more shows i've gone to that were quite pricey, I just can't remember them.

I think I've paid like £35 to see Imogen Heap in November. Festivals aside thats probably the most I've ever spent on a gig. The Darkness, ProgNation and Dream Theater might of been around there but I think they were slightly cheaper, plus travelling from the North to London for the Imogen gig will be way more expensive in terms of travel. Bill Bailey was pretty expensive too, but I'm not sure if he broke into the £30s.

And why, cause its Imogen Heap and she's doing two sets. One a normal set, the other with an orchestra for which she is writing a specific piece of music. Swwwwweeeeeeeet :D.

The name rings a bell. I remember listening to them way back. Specifically this song.

Then I think once I accidentally cleared my history I pretty much forgot about them. Shame on me :(

Might have to do the unethical act of, dare I say it? No. Because then I'll get banned. But yeah, you know.

Most I've paid was for a Jazz concert, but for a Metal show, it was something like 25 or 27 bucks.

I've paid $160 to see Iron Maiden and Metallica tickets are costing me the same.

But that's in Australian Dollars, which is worth about as much as a peso.

Yup, $150 for Metallica tickets, most I've paid so far for a show.

Soundwave looks really shit this year as well. Hope Anthrax comes out again.

Considering I've not been to many shows, I'm less likely to have come across an expensive show as the rest. The most expensive was probably Maiden but that was my 18th birthday present so the most so far is only Opeth for £25 or so.

That's the spirit! It helps a lot when you don't care much about the naysayers. However, when it comes to reviewing and criticism, if there's an album that's hated amongst MANY, I will be weary about it.

I forgot to mention this before but Rhapsody are going to release a 35 minute song on their upcoming EP which will be released in mid October. I was very pleased with their latest album and I sure hope this doesn't disappoint me. Hell, a 30+ minute track by Rhapsody MUST be epic!

In other news, I took the free mouse mat offer ArtsCow are doing and the design I choose is Slough Feg's Traveller. I can't see Slough Feg putting mouse mats on their merchandise anytime soon so this is a great opportunity!

Wouldn't mind seeing All That Remains either.
