Perhaps, but I don't think genres need much logic behind their names. What the hell does Death Metal mean? Or Sludge? They just are what they are.

Perhaps these headphones do last a very long time but I want to make sure on that. And of course, I won't wear them outside the house. I can just use my earphones which'll be spares whenever I get these awesome headphones.

Earphones have pansy little wires that break easily, and are generally wrapped around something (an iPod for example). That causes them to break sooner. Headphones have thicker wires and are a lot more durable as long as you look after them.
So I assure you they will last as long as you don't spill drinks and jump on them :P.

I agree.
I don't even like Metal much nowadays anyway. And I'd rather have someone who was artistic and pretencious than someone who wears massive goth boots and listens to shit Metal (which lets face it, most people do).

I just like bland girls, and the Metal image has its foundations as the antithesis of bland.

It depends how to wrap it up. If you wrap it really tight at the beginning, so that the wire bends where it was inserted, that will cause them to break/lose quality of sound. If you let it hang loose at the beginning and then tightly, you should be fine.

Also, I need some more brutal death metal to listen to. All I'm listening to now is Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Nile, Cannibal Corpse and Bloodbath. Gimmeh some more.

Actually, forget that. Thrash metal instead. I only listen to 3 thrash metal bands: Dew-Scented, Slayer, and Blood Tsunami. Pretty sad, right?

Almost my opinion. They are all either taken, emotionally unstable, or sluts.

Smeagol, just because she's in corpse paint doesn't mean she's hot. As far as I can tell, it's King Diamond with tits.

When I try to picture a metalhead girl, this is the image I get:

I imagine some pseudo-goth girl who sits in the cafeteria by herself, listening to her ipod and scowling at people. She doesn't have a facebook, but she has a myspace. Half of her friends are bands, and her profile lags because it's filled with images, and the layout is black with lime green text. She doesn't care what you think about her, and she thinks she's smarter than everyone else, so they're not worth her time. And she listens to awful bands, and tries to pass off her tastes as unique and hardcore.

I think I'm getting some form of a band t-shirt, not sure who though. And I'm almost guarenteed an iTunes giftcard with which I shall buy more metal songs. And possibly Guitar Hero 5, which has a pretty good tracklist. And speaking of iTunes giftcard, if I do get one, what songs should I buy with it?

Nah, I never ask my parents for presents like that. They wouldn't know what I'd want and they wouldn't understand it and they wouldn't even know where to find it anyways. That's really cool though, nice gifts.

I have been having some really bad anger outbursts from stress lately. And it doesn't help any that I don't have anything angry to listen to, really. 90% of my collection is Power Metal.

Sounds good. I remember my iPod earphones breaking so damn easily but that was only because I accidentally split coffee all over the coffee table (the laptop somehow didn't get a single drop of liquid from that) but the ones I have now are lasting well so far so they'll last me for the time being.

I've asked for jack shit. I get the feeling my sister has gotten me a few interesting things, though so I'm standing by until Christmas Day and then order several albums I need to get.

Ok, once again, I am a metalhead girl and I'm not a pseudo-goth girl who sits alone. I have tons of friends, half of which don't even like metal. I don't have a facebook or myspace. And your right about the not caring what other people think, but I also do NOT think I am smarter than everyone. Most people aren't worth my time. And if you think Behemoth and Metallica are awful bands, go on ahead.

I know that every generalization has its exceptions, but that does not mean that the generalization has its truths. it's a generalization to say that all Jews have big noses, and there are indeed Jews who do not have large noses, but then again, there are scores of them who do. its a generalization to say that all black teenagers in america listen to shitty hip hop, and there are indeed black american teenagers who listen to music that isn't shitty hip hop, but then again, there are scores of them that do.

i'm friends with some girls who are attractive and not lesbians and also listen to metal, but then again, there are also scores of ugly and fat girls who may or may not be lesbians who listen to some pretty shitty metal.

but for the most part, i was just making a joke, so i suppose that the joke's on you for taking me so seriously.
