So i finally got around to finding a decent set list for you. I remembered all the Megadeth songs, just not the Slayer ones (all of them anyway). I finally found out why Slayer didn't encore/why it was more or less Slayeroke as someone else put it. Tom Araya totalled his voice or something of the sort. Oh well, still kicked ass.

Megadeth:

Set The World Afire
Wake Up Dead
Hangar 18
Skin O' My Teeth
Headcrusher
Devils Island
In My Darkest Hour
Tornado Of Souls
She Wolf
Rattle Head
Symphony Of Destruction
Peace Sells

encore:

Holy Wars/Mechanix/The Punishment Due
With the obligatory "Silent Scorn" set as the outro.

Slayer:

World Painted Blood
War Ensemble
Jihad
Psychopathy Red
Mandatory Suicide
Hate Worldwide
Disciple
Dead Skin Mask
Hell Awaits
Angel Of Death
South Of Heaven
Raining Blood

May be missing a few Slayer songs, but that just about sums up the night. I missed out on a fair bit of Double Dragon, but they kicked ass from what i was there for.

I would've loved April, and Count of Tuscany too man. Woud've been CHOICE and NOICE MOIT.

Plus I like the new Opeth album.

That's a good set list from Megadeth, though I'm not sure what to expect.

I'm seeing them and Slayer on Tuesday. SWEET. My second ever famous metal band concert.

Yes, the first was DT. And yes, I got the best set ever that Nev never got.

Just played a very short notice show opening up for a local band here called 4justice. The band that was going to open for them had to cancel last minute, so they sent me a message, and we played, It was sweet, except for we messed up one of our songs really badly.

I couldn't agree more. Being racist is just pathetic.

Of course not. Although, I can understand 4 BC&SL songs on the setlist but I find Sacrificed Sons and In the Name of God to be rather out of place here.

It's one of my favourite songs of MAYH, I'd just have preferred something better... like When, or The Moor, which I don't believe I'll ever get to hear. Me and my mate have been shouting 'THHE MOOOOOOR!' for the last few years and never got it :(.

I've had all those songs, never at the same gig, but I've had them.

And I've had Learning to Live, Metropolis and Pull Me Under, so fuck you :P.

Well they swap the setlists around all the time to keep things fresh. Thats why me and Ponos get to have this DT Top Trumps thing :).
And they really like playing In the Name of God. I think its on all the live albums and they've always played it fully or in a medley whenever I've seen them. I imagine its to keep Myung happy :P.

Fuck the Jonas Brothers, damn Hanson wannabes.
I actually saw Kool'n The Gang in 85 or 86.
Surprisingly they were pretty damn good live.

I always get that feeling of disappointment when reading Daath as well.

"Yey Dea... oh... :(".

Especially when they get announced for a festival and you think all your dreams have come true.

Or at least the dreams featuring Chuck <3.

He did play Ted though.
He deserves a special place in everyones heart for that :).

I can't be sure. The sound was very muddy.
It's possible though, the violin parts seem a bit familiar.

I don't hear it.

I didn't mean in terms of the music, but appearance - I should of specified that.
The bassist and one of the guitarists both wore baggy clothes + dreads. They totally could of passed for whoever in Korn has dreads and baggy clothes :P.

For some odd reason, I hate it when the bassist of a band uses an extended range bass, but the guitarists use the standard six string.
