Are Abigail Williams Metal or Core?
from what I can hear, they're like Black metal+ Deathcore , the core is mostly because of the vocals.
I wish they had different vocals.

Still haven't found my ticket yet. Fuck. This isn't turning out good.

As far as The Faceless goes, I saw them twice. I wasn't really impressed either time.

God fucking damn it...

I'm in a band with these emo -core lovers and Abigail Williams was in their iTunes. So I'm throwing the too gay to listen card down.

Megamail #148 Studio Update: We Are Done!

STUDIO UPDATE: "WE ARE DONE!"

Dave Mustaine has issued the following studio update at TheLIVELine.com:

"I'm at the studio right now, Vic's Garage, and we are done! We're just right now finishing the last couple of notes on the new record, and Andy's getting ready to pack his bags and head up to Los Angeles tomorrow to get ready to fly back home on Thursday. Man, this has been a long, grueling, enduring process but it's been so worth it, and I'm so excited. I'm more excited about this record then I've been in any record since back in the 1980's. I would say, probably since, well definitely since "Rust In Peace" there's nothing that's excited me this much - maybe "Countdown", but this is just absolutely insane."

Wow.

Don't people say that for every album they release? 'Omg I'm excited! And to make fans think I'm serious I'll mention two of our albums that were actually brilliant'.

I've not listened to any of their nu metal albums and I don't intend to at all, but it can't be that bad to you. Burn My Eyes is a decent album.

I'm not sure what to expect from their new album, but all I hope for is for less politcal bollocks than United Abominations.

They said that one of the songs is going to be called "the hardest part of letting go". Maybe we´ll get a sentimental album like Youthanasia?
Anyway, i´m going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd in a minute, if i manage to get a ticket.

Legend was kind of core, but their first full lenght release was Symphonic Black Metal for sure.

Listen to The Departure and you'll understand why it's classified as core sometimes. First riff is so corish, there is just no way you can't ear it :P

The vocals are still very nice and they probably have the fastest, most technical drummingI ever heard.

I actually can't wait for a new Megadeth album. I thought "United Abominations" was a very nice album, surely their best one since "Youthanasia".

A little less politics please, but keep them riffs coming and I'm happy.

I don't really give a fuck about Ellefson, though - his replacements have always been fine.

I've been in a music writing rut for over a month now, all I can seem to write are intros, whenever I try to write verse riffs or anything else, it doesn't fit at all with anything, and overall isn't very good, I have no idea what to do

If anyone is interrested, I made a review of the Symphonic Black Metal band Anthelion on my profile.

Do you guys buy your cds online? Cause it's kind of hard to find good underground band's albums in stores, even those wti great selections. Cause I'd like to get my hands on some Agalloch's records. And if anyone finds a nice t-shirt of em, just send me a link :)

I might get hated for this, but System of A Down is one of my favorite bands ever. Does this metal club accept their first album as a form of metal aside from shitty nu-metal? At the very least, a good album in general?

I enjoy System of a Down's self-titled. It's pretty damn good, I can get into it.

I think thats a better album overall because 'The Aftermath' first half is a bit meh. But from Backstabber onwards every song is a standout track that'll grab your balls and make you think 'WHY DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT POLITICS! WHY DO YOU LIKE PEOPLE! GAAAARRRRR! FUCCCCCCKKK!'

Seriously, get The Aftermath.

I'll decide if that's so when we hear the album. I heard from somewhere they'll be an instrumental in a similar style to Into the Lungs of Hell, but I'll believe it when I hear it. If that's so, however, I'll be very pleased as Into the Lungs of Hell is one of my favourite Megadeth tracks.
