I can't remember if it was 1 or 2 years ago now, i remember talking to Ghoul on MSN and he sent it over.

After knowing the band for around 30 months now, I finally got Accept's Balls to the Wall. A few listens so far, but I find it pretty good. However, I prefer Restless and Wild. Also, I just pre-ordered The Devil You Know along with purchasing Mob Rules, so I'm looking forward to listening to those albums next week. :)

Just a random curiosity: Does anyone here listen to the NWOBHM Demon?

Indeed. And its only DTs fault for making albums like Awake, Images and Metropolis so fucking good that anything short of that seems poor :P.

Even so, their other albums are still enjoyable, except for Falling Into Infinity, which I never got into. There was only a track or two that I really liked out of the whole album.

Balrog are fucking excellent, Nazgul Warlord and Destroyer (The Broken Alliance) are fucking diabolical slabs of hateful, war-torn black metal. I love how the drums always seem to resemble artillery/machine gun/AK-47 fire.

True, Onkel Tom Angelripper is good, but hes a bit out of my style, I do love his song "Jingle Bells" though. When I drink I prefer to listen to Korpiklaani while kicking back a tankard of Dunkel....or listen to Coldworld and kick back with some Chivas Regal.

Check out Irreversible. The entire film is exactly backwards. It starts at the end and ends at the beginning, which ends up revealing something at the last moment that just makes the film all the more fucked up. It's a good film, if you don't mind movies that are relentlessly dark and heartless.

I still haven't heard that whole album (I dig Hell's Kitchen), but I've heard other stuff with Derek Sherinian, and sometimes I think he needs to calm down with that keyboard. I've known them for a while now, but I haven't listened to them in a long time. I used to get their songs stuck in my head, especially of Epic Questions because Pandora would play it over and over.

aside from the obvious Death, Atheist, and Demilich, which are all brilliant, Illogicist is good stuff. And Neglected Fields isn't bad. Sinners Bleed seems pretty good, too. Priscila is a pretty crazy vocalist.
