I gave Vinterriket a good listen the other day. I loved it, excellent Ambient work.
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

Odin=Not real
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway, recently I've been listening to more and more songs from ...And Justice For All. And I must say, it's the first Metallica album that had 'throw away songs'.
Now, that is a term I just made up on the spot, so let me explain it to you.
Every metal album in recroded history has had at least one significant and unforgettable song, (eg. Through the Fire and the Flames, Smoke on the Water, One, Iron Man, Paradise Lost, Make them Suffer etc.) more often than not, this is the title track, but there are many exceptions.
Now, as well as having these unforgettable tracks, the same albums also have very forgettable tracks, (eg. The Flame of Youth, Lazy, The Shortest Straw, Rat Salad, Domination, Necrosadistic Warning). Said tracks for the most part require(d) minimal musical skill and had no catchy-ness or memorable riffs or solos, it also may have disappeared from the band's live set forever. These are called throw away songs.
While rare, there are some albums that have no throw away songs, and are usually thought very highly of in the metal community (Master of Puppets, Valley of the Damned, Scrolls of the Megilloth, Holy Diver, The Triptych, Rust in Peace).
Yep, that's my contribution for the next two years or so.

Both those albums suck ass in their entirety And they are known as "throw away albums".
This type of album is often made by bands that "Suck" or "Have no skill" or "are just a bunch of fags" or a combination of the three.. (DragonForce, Mortification, Any Christian Band ever created)
Despite their worthlessness, These bands sometimes become popular, Because of the listening Circulation amongst the Community of "Fags with really really bad taste in music" (Ryan, Ryan (Irishgun) , Other Celts, And Followers of the Christian faith)
These "Fags with really bad taste in music" Are known to create alts on Newgrounds and lie about them being their brothers.

Can we stop this now? Somewhere along the line, defending something (albeit light-heartedly) that I don't believe in got slightly boring, not to mention pointless and off topic.
Let's just agree that if both Viking and Celtic pantheons were to merge, they would form a super team of super-heroes that would keep order over the world of religion. And their arch nemesis would be Muhammed, the evil child-fucker. And Set could be their mascot.
I can see it now...

Yes, but he was a preverbial badass within the time that he was alive.
He
1. Pissed off Satan.
2. Brought dead ppls back to life.
3. Probably jammed with Paul Gilbert at some point. (...Paul Gilbert is immortal. That is fact.)
But I'd really like a new rule that means beyond this point, if any religion is mentioned in the Hell, the user who mentioned gets a smack with the banhammer.
Exceptions may be made, of course.
I'd also like Kidd tied to a cross and flogged. Precisely 156821 times. Precisely. But that's just my opinion.
I'm glad that this is over. Goodnight.
So...What does everybody think of In Flames? I played their song on Guitar Hero, and I thought it was a wee bit shite, to be honest. I can understand some people finding it appealing, but I just don't see it.

I still like Slipknot. I've always proudly said so, even though I'm less than a month away from being Twenty. Considering I also like things like Burzum and Darkthrone, technically I aught to be hung. But hey, I like Slipknotand Enter Shikari, anyone got a problem with that?
Lol.
Anyone here also like Akercocke?

As one of the oldest members of this club, I have to agree on this one. Talking about religion in a Music topic isn't just pointless, it's downright distracting, annoying and this one in particular has made you both look a little more pathetic for taking it so personally, no offence to either but you're both as bad as each other for continuing to worsen the whole thing.
So...What does everybody think of In Flames? I played their song on Guitar Hero, and I thought it was a wee bit shite, to be honest. I can understand some people finding it appealing, but I just don't see it.
Some of their stuff is good, in my opinion, but the rest of it is a wee bit 'samey' as the rest of what they've ever done. As for an earlier comment I saw about Dragonforce..... To all you peeps try and play the song on Guitar Hero 3 on the hardest difficulty setting, getting a perfect score, and then you'll know some level of how skilled they are. Yes, you can call them faggots for playing power metal style songs and showing off, but talentless...?

And as for me, now there's nothing left to do but wait until school starts again, having done everything of even remote interest, including Anette Olzon (%u061F), and now I'm bored. That is, I have done everything except the most important thing of all.
I have not...FIGURED OUT HOW TO TUNE MY GUITAR TO C!
