I've done 16 characters and want to make a team to do a alien hominid/castlecrashers scale side scrolling game. I have the art part covered. I need someone who wants to make music (or if not I can probably handle that too.) and programing etc. Anyone in?
Oh btw I'm a bit of a lurker so I'm not really new to this site
So, I'll be the animator. While I can probably work with anyone willing to help, I'd much rather have a long term more dedicated team. If I get a reply or two I'll post a pic of one of my characters so as to show what I'm working with.
I can probably help you with any voice things, IDK but maybe you might want a character to Taunt an enemy or something, i can help with that.
You said you wanted animators, I'm not Too impressive but maybe i can help. depends what kinda Characters they are like stick figures or little cartoony like things IDK, Also I may know someone who can help you Music wise, depends if he's interested.
As for the Long term part you were talking about, I'm pretty bored almost always.

Sounds good, though the characters won't have any actually voices, they might grunt and since some of them arent human like, they might growl. If you can work with that I'd be glad to have you on the team, and anyone else who can contribute. I can use as many animators and musicians as possible also.

You, any preferances to the voice? Because when I just saw that character, my only idea was a kinda higher pitch than my normal voice... not sure.

To establish a dedicated team your going to have to show us a lot more than a fluro green apple shaped character in a fighting pose, we need to see that your dedicated and capable of producing the kind of project you wish to complete.

For Skull guy i'm think of a Kinda heavy evil voice but a kinda high pitched one aswell

Awesome! and yeah, all those are spot on. I'm just good at animations and am pretty illiterate when it comes to programing so we're kinda depending on someone to fill in for that kind of thing now. Should we do this all here? Or somewhere else for everyone involved?
Get everyone together here that we can and then move to a more organised place?

I have some basic AS3 knowledge, I don't know how extensive you want this game to be. but I'm currently quickly learning a lot of new stuff from some books and the internet, I have a couple of games on my page, although they're really simple.
I'm probably not good enough for this kind of project, but I thought i'd post anyway.

@ Gexa9 any help would be great. But this is probably going to be a bigger scaled game than most. I want it to be more like alien hominid and the rest of Behemoths stuff

Just realized I'm only good at drawing characters and somewhat weapons. I can use help with art if someone wants to make maps, weapons, maps, stages, and character ideas too.
