If everyone in the world currently congregates in a single land area, with just enough to stand, we would fill a land area equal to the size of Los Angeles. Now that's how many people we have.

They all say that we should have less children. Anyone ever heard of an
ageing population?

It doesn't really matter since the developing countries of the world continue to have high birth rates. As a result, their populations aren't aging like the western world's population is. We need to curb this high birthrate in developing countries now, or it will prove detrimental to us later in this century.
