Well of course we all know that cellphones are hard to live with out for most people but considering how the NG BBS I want to know what you think. How long can you live without your cell phone?
As for me, it's funny because back in the day I didn't use it as much mainly just upload pictures to facebook and call friends and family to know where they are. But nowadays since I recently became a Facebook addict it's consumed me. Those goddamn texts make good reading material on the go. Also I get excited when this girl I know randomly decdies to clall me and yada yada yada.
I have a penis
I text quite a bit, and make calls whenever I need to, so I'd say it's very important.
Still, I kinda wish I had a data plan on my cell phone, but I'm too cheap to afford the extra $30/month that it costs. Plus, I already have Internet access at home. I can only use Twitter and Facebook from my phone, and that can come in handy sometimes whenever I'm outside or far away without immediate access to a computer.
I'd have to get a different bus nearer to my house, then walk home, as my usual bus requires me to call my parents for a lift once I get into town (the walk is up a stupidly steep hill, so I have to get picked up).
Other than getting home about 10 minutes later, there would be little difference.
For the most part I don't use my for for anything other than telling me the time. Sometimes I'll get texts asking where I am and whatnot so someone can find me, but other than that it's very seldom that I use it for it's primary functions.

Extremely. My cell phone is mainly used as my planner, which helps me organized in knowing when assignments and resumes are due in to employers. It also helps me know my work schedule for my restaurant job and is an overall planner to help with daily life.
I also use it for music when my iPod isn't charged as well as to check the news every day on the way to/at the job I am currently working at.
I also use it for the basics like calling and texting for entertainment.
Yea, I farm Anal Penguins. Do something about it.
I just use mine to call friends to hang out and to call my parents to tell them where I am. So I kind of need my phone if I want to leave the house.
I can live without my cellphone, but then I'd be sad because... I can't text to my dad who drives a truck around the country (I'm in Canada) and he isn't home all the time. At least Rogers (Canada's best communications company) is pretty nice; I'm on a plan that equals to free unlimited text, as long as your client is in Canada. If only my friends had one....
I can't wait to get rid of my cellphone, it's a pain in the ass to be so in touch all the time but at the same time I like that I'm available if something important comes up. The only thing good I have to say about my cellphone is that it's my security blanket if I ever get stranded somewhere.

I've got a cell but I don't really need it, people know where I am mostly, I don't make many calls, most calls I receive aren't very urgent or important.
I could easily go without a cell for a long time, I always wonder how people can get so very absorbed by a cell, it just seems like a convenience to me but thats it, it doesn't go into the land of need, it barely makes it into the land of want. But thats just me, I don't know everyones business so I have to stand down in calling it nearly useless since it just isn't true for some people.
Important as hell, I text almost 80-120 messages / mails a day through it, when we get separated on a party we text, keep in touch with friends,... I'm very depending of it I guess....
"Get on Skype."
This is what my cell phone is used for 95% of the time. So, yes, I could live without my cell phone, and I wouldn't be giving up much, either.
I never use except to call friends/parents or text my friend in california, which isn't very often. I used it mainly as an Emergency Communication Device.
A spear in your chest and a fire in your ass. I only play as Scorpion in MK games, because I'm that much of a fanboy.
I haven't charged it in about a week.
I'm willing to bet I'll have no missed calls or texts.
