Understandable. Just to clarify, the question of the appeal was directed to my learned and disturbed friend. I have yet to view a particular post from yourself that I would question. Your delivery is usually quite succinct. Kudos.

But so many Hollywood movies are, well, stupid. What does that say about you?
Besides, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it a frenchman who invented the movie camera?

no the frenchman your thinking of developed a projection system so that we could watch movies in large theaters rather than on small projectors that were used in the 60 by the public for 8mm films. the french were also the first to realy see the potental for film and use it.

Bullshit. You think all the stupid breezerdrinking teenagers here watch European Movies? Hollywood movies are generally made for morons. You name me one Hollywood movie that's better than La Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain.

There are a few American cinematic classics that are argueably better, but they always tank in the theaters because the general moronic movie goer doesn't understand/appreciate them.

I have never seen that movie, nor do I know what genre it falls under.
Also, American movies are made in great abundance. Six or seven are released every week, so yes, by sheer professional diversity, many of them are going to be made for morons (i.e. many of my favorites).
I still stand by my case that the movies of two different cultures and continents can not be compared.

Of course they can! A movie can either be good or bad, no matter if it's American, French, Chinese, Dutch or German.
"Man, this movie sucks!"
-"Yes, but it's American."
"Oh, well, if you put it that way, it's great!"

Not really. Bollywood releases alot more movies than Hollywood does.

That same glass of red wine, poured over the midsection of a young French woman...

As a french culture enthusiast, I'll agree. But what is it about our French bretheren that makes them so interesting? Is it the accent, the language, the cuisine, or the fact that they've never won a war on their own? Probably a little of all those things and more besides. Anyone wanna add anything?

Probably because French women have usually been percieved to be both highly attractive and easy.
(that don't mean it's true though)

Since I can't talk from experience, how true is the "French women don't shave" stereotype. Most of the French people I have met are filled with a greater zest for life than any other I know so that may truly be what makes them cool.
Oh and thirdy, it's nice that you have an opinion but have you based this opinion on any evidence?

This is not to imply necessarily that they are easy. French women that I have met, seem to possess the love of life that you mention plus the added advantage of still knowing how to flirt (seemingly at any age).
The only evidence that I have is the young and not so young ladies I have had the pleasure of being acquainted. Whether they were French from Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec or France, the presence of eloquence and sexual delivery was only varied by national culture, but never removed.
If you have not had the pleasure of knowing a French woman, but have the opportunity to explore such a relationship, I would highly recommend a slow and languorous relationship with devout focus towards intimacy; first in the use of language and flirting, then into the physical aspects of massage, then kissing (they are wonderful kissers), then slowly onto the more direct stimulus methods.
Anyways, transfer this process to most women (of any Western nationality) and the results should be similar.
Note, talking came first. Biggie in the points department.
Quick answer to the other question of how many; not sure, I haven't kept track. Haven't missed out on any though if that helps.

Sorry missed this one: Some do, some don't. Think it's more of a Euro thing than just a French thing. I have met more Russian, Italian and German women who don't shave than I have French, but my exposure to the French ladies is predominately urban whereas the others are mixed urban and rural.
Evidence? sorry no photos.

I'll have to agree. Euro chicks are frighteningly hairy. I wonder if one of our European members could begin some sort of campaign to attempt to solve this problem...? Perhaps standing at street corners and handing out free razors to exceptionally furry passerby?
Evidence? sorry no photos.

Most people are angry that they wouldn't support an Immoral war. But as part of the UN security council that is their job.

Over the course of my life I've seen a lot of the French, and to be quite honest, they're basically just Englishmen, only with cooler accents and not nearly as egotistical. They're just easier to make fun of because we don't speak french (I know there are french speakers here, but you guys never make fun of the french, so you don't count). Listen to some French traditional music, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
From what I've learned, France is a great place to be relax and have a smoke. England is a great place to have a laugh and a beer. And America is a great place to drink some whiskey and shoot things.
