Okay, it is most certain that it'll be just me, Don, and two girls.

Just saved this meet from being a semi-sausage fest...
You're cool, man! You're cool!

We should have a dandy day during the meetup so that you can go to the drag queen area dressed in Victorian garb. Would that make you happy?

So no one's up for biking?
Just because you'll be hungover is not reason not to get super sweaty for the evening. Fags.

If I go I would go on a bike tour, but I'd have to either borrow a bike or buy a new bike in Montreal and do a badass 300k back home after the meet, thus replacing my shitty bike with something usable.

Not really, there's a bike rental service everywhere in montreal.

I guess, but there's some mad fees for anything over half an hour (so I'd have to do a bunch of swap-outs every 10-15k or pay a lot for the rental), and I do need a new bike anyway.

yeah, I can't make heads or tails of their fees. I think it's $5 for a 24 hour "membership", which includes 30 minutes and then you pay a couple of dollars for additional half hours (??) and then they want a $250 security deposit? Sounds like a pain in the ass.

Indeed.
I certainly hope all the paperwork and fees don't eat up the time we could be spending around the city.
Speaking of paperwork: The girls are not ready, and hotel rooms are running out - Chances are they may not be coming at all.

My guess is that the extra fees depend on the length of a ride segment, i.e. if you take one bike out for a two hour ride it'll cost you a lot, but there's no extra fees for say, 5 different 25 minute rides. Because the service is supposed to be for commuters who don't want the hassle of owning their own bike, it kind of makes sense to do it this way to make sure there's still bikes available when people need them.

That makes a little more sense to me. I was thinking that you got 30 minutes included in total. But 30 minutes per trip doesn't sound so bad. Then again, the way pox was suggesting the bike paths, I imagine it could take an hour or two to do the whole thing so we'd all be paying out the nose and I don't think I recall anyone ever needing to use a bike during the meetup - we tend to stroll around and use the subway to get places. Paying $15 for a multi-day transit card seems the smart idea.

Yeah the bikes are not for getting around the city during the meet, it's just something to do.
You have to "pay" a 250$ deposit to take out a bike.
Then it's 5$ for 24 hours. Any ride under 30 mins during that time is free.
Rides from 31-60 mins are 1.50$
61-90 is 3$
And then it's 6$ for each additional half hour.
So yeah a 2 hour ride would cost 14$ total
There's also a 2 bike limit per credit card.
So I don't know how much you guys want to do : P
Here's a possible route.

Unfortunately, his words have fallen on deaf ears, for they have rarely ever visited the site.
But fear not. Their room and tickets have already been bought. So you shall be seeing them soon.
