the design is good, but the textures still need a bit of work
it doesn't look blenderry at all, but it doesn't look particularly realisitic either, which is kind of strange cause usually its one or the other
did you touch it up at all in photoshop?
with the outlines it looks kinda cel shade esque.
Looks good to me.

Yes, texturing is a struggle for me, I only use what works and haven't found the way to perfect any texturing goals, for example if I wanted it to look realistic I probably wouldn't be able to :P
I didn't touch it up whatsoever, it's probably just the outline and world background that makes it look "out of blender"
I'm sensing an attraction to call of duty.
Find specific gun models and make them, not the overly bland images from that game.

HA from someone named mason. Yes I do like the cod guns. I use random pictures I get from google though, not their pictures, I made the spectre before I knew it was going to be in game.
Now I will try and stray from call of duty guns, but I made this from before, I still think it is worthy.

My actual name is Mason. Ryan Mason. Yeah thats just how bad-ass I am.

Call of Duty didn't invent that name you know. He signed up in '06, before Alex Mason was even a concept.
Real artists draw their own user picture and signature. I am not a real artist.

Sig credit to Ninjar.

I know sheesh, it was just funny coincidence. Here is an AIG asymmetric.
I am going to start making low poly models for a game : S

You're allowed as many posts as you like in your own personal Art Thread, provided that they provide something new to it.
Anyway, nice posts so far, and liking the amount of time you've put into your more high-resolution guns. However, all the same, they do seem rather dime-a-dozen - nothing the likes hasn't already been seen 1500 times in the likes of Battlefield, COD, and so on.
I say to try something new - add a spin to it. Make it fresh.
Here is an ak47, 3530 polys. Trying to keep it low for the game. The person I am working with is doing the textures, I will post some more of those later.
Duuuuude, badass guns you got in here. They look great. :D
thanks, here is a low poly shotgun, later I shall post some textured versions when my buddy gets to em.
i'm not an artist by any means, so i'm giving an opinion-based comment here. i think it looks really good, not incredibly realistic, but definitely good enough for a video game. (referring to the first few images)
the ones that are low-poly are pretty cool-looking too. kinda looks like an old school game or something. awesome.

Oh I like this one.
Tick Tock
Thankyou everyone for feedback! I am learning texturing slowly, but it is challenging, however my accomplice has 2-3 years of blender experience and is far better at texturing than me, so we are focusing on or strong points for the game (I get to design the first death match map!) Here is his texture work on the shotgun, if you guys want to see more textured versions let me know, but the texturing is full credit to him.

This one is kind of weird, it seemed too simple for it's own good. Weird in shape too, I would hate aiming with this thing in real life.
nice stuff man. :)..we must do colaboration ever :D
Working on some props, not very detailed, but we need a lot of them, first time ever modeling a car, still not done, just WIP
i dont think you could get any more badass theres nothing to criticize i suppose this all looks awesome

Always room for more badassness! This isn't finished, but my partner texture the ak, but I am trying to get him to change the lighter color of the barrel, and tweak the shape of the body (it should be more pear shaped at the top).
