I've decided to start writing bits of erotica to practice sensual/descriptive writing, but when it comes to actual sex or penetration (like after foreplay) I come to a screeching halt. During foreplay you can bring to light different smells, facial expressions, soft noises, differences in heartbeats or breathing, lighting effects, or make commentaries on body heat or whatever, but once it comes to actual penetration you need to move the focus to penetration, and it becomes difficult to put lots of content into describing the sensation without drifting a bit on the focus... And I'm making it imperative that that doesn't happen.
Has anyone else encountered the same problem? How do I make actual penetration drag on a bit longer? Any time I try to write about it, when I look back at it it appears almost as if I'm summarizing.
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.

You just mainly have to understand the balance between an emotional scene and porn. Put detail into the emotion, but remain "vague" when it comes to the physical act. Its just something you'll have to find on your own.
