Tides shift
Clouds twist and turn
Tears stain and burn your face
Your fingers lace in endless prayers
You sleep and wake in an eternal race

With blink of the eye your dancing in golden peace
The warm seas caress your bliss
The clouds lean down for a kiss
Your eyes sparkle in tireless joy

You just wish it was more than the world's ploy

You trip and fall
And the world is once again painted in grey and black
