Panera Bread 2004-04-15 11:17:42 Reply

Dan (Synj) and I were "spotted" at a Panera Bread on Monday, and the topic sparked a lot of interest on the forums. I've always been a bit shy about meeting fans and whatnot, but we've decided to try something we've never done before... We're officially announcing a trip to Panera Bread.

We're leaving now, so we'll be there around 11:40 most likely. If anyone wants to drop in and say "hi", feel free!

RULES:
1. Buy something to eat, so you aren't loitering.
2. Don't make a spectacle of yourself and be all noisy.
3. Don't creep us out.
4. We have a busy schedule with Alien Hominid, so we will have to head out and get back to work. Sorry in advance. :)

We want this to be a chill meet and greet with whoever can make it out fast enough. We have no idea if no one will show up, or if a bunch of people will show up... I'm leaning towards no one, but surprises are fun.

We'll be here:
Panera Bread
30 Park Av, Willow Grove, PA 19090

It's in a shopping center right next to the Willow Grove mall. I have shaggy hair and will probably be wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

This will be an interesting experiment! :)

This is the game JohnnyUtah and I have been working on.

Hmmm, I think that even if I walked REALLY quickly, I wouldn't be able to make it from Scotland to USA in time. Ah well, if there's ever a visit to Scotland, gimme a bell :P

Good luck with anyone who hopes of actually heading out there to meet them.

This has NGmag news written all over it. How about an article about all the ng fans who have met Tom, Wade and Co?
It would be pretty interesting, I thinks.

Haha, so am I.
I can't make it since I am in France. But if I lived not too far from them, in the USA, I would probably go, even though I'd feel so stupid, since I'm only 16. I'll feel inferior... And they will scare me.
=(

Hmmmm... I'm guessing a small turn up as a) Not many people live in that area and b) It's short notice, but a cool turn of events anyways!

You know what I think would be cool though? A Flash convention at some point where Flash artists and fans alike could go to, chill out... I dunno I wouldn't know what the whole point of it would be other than to meet people and the more popular flash artists, lol.

I was just about to say that. I'm getting slower...
Anyways. Yeah. I think that I, and all the NG community, would be very glad if we would have a resume when the thingy is done. You'd tell us who showed up, how, what did you talk about, first impressions and all that.
