Just came back to log into my account after a long time but i'm no longer happy with my username, Is there any way to change it? or at least change the email attached to it so I can make a new account with my usual email?
I would just delete the account and make a new one but I have submissions that I no longer have the original files for that I don't want to lose.

Nope: there's no way to change your username yourself. However, you can try PMing Wade and seeing if he'll do it for you. There's no guarantee that he'll do it, but if you've got a few flashes to your current name it makes it a bit more likely than usual (for the reasons you said already: just forgetting about your account would lose you the flashes too).
Just tell him what username you'd like and see what happens.
If all else fails you. Create a new account, then co-author your new acct into the old movies and move on. You sort of get the movies onto your new account.
