So Bill was saying that the tides proved God existed.(how they go in and out so perfectly and we dont know why, it must be God)
Anyways, the liberal said "it could be Thro up on Mount Olympus" causing it.
Thor up on Mount Olympus.....
Wonder what Zeus would think about that.
Thor being on mount Olympus is about as believable as a benevolent god.
Who is Thro? And why is he on Mount olympus?
The tides?
Done by the moon.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.

And theists are any better? Get off your high horse. The OP was obviously trying to use the fact that the liberal was wrong to prove god's existence. I posted a contrary opinion.
I thought tides were caused by the effect of the Moon's gravity on the Earth's oceans. Looks like my information is outdated. In any case, why the fuck would God waste time forming tides? That isn't logical.
I was formerly known as "Jedi-Master."
"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."--Dr. Seuss
apparently, God is real, and the moon is all bullshit.
and thro lives on mount olympus.
Am I banned? no? awesome!

And Noam Chomsky
And Deepak Chopra
And Michael Moore
And Keith Olberman
And liberalism itself.

a nice list of things far-right ideologues love to whine about indeed, though i think this might be more apropos for a thread on Free Republic. they're still stuck in Web 1.0, they want nothing to do with that Soros-backed Web 2.0! :)
boy howdy do i love politics on the general forum!
he was probably either comparing the beliefs of christianity to the two mythologies or he just is ignant.. that or he made a mistake. O'Reily looks at people like their a Meat Ball sandwich, he might've been nervous?

Lol, I'm not a far-right ideologue, but nice try. And you have to admit that people like Janeane Garofalo and Deepak Chopra are annoying dimwits.

Based on your response, I'm sure you do.
It occurs to me that the OP doesn't know the proper use of the word "Fact".

To be honest George Bush wasn't the sole cause of the economy going to crap. Hell the primary cause was banks coaxing people who couldn't afford certain homes into buying them with <5% down payments instead of the usual 15-20%. It's been going on since the Clinton days. The only thing you could blame Bush for, in regards to the economy, was not getting legislation passed to get the banks to stop doing that, which couldn't get passed in congress because both parties were reluctant to do so.

Fleuve doesn't care. He just loves to trash Bush for everything.
