The lead would just have to make sure that the idea they used was good with everyone, or that they gathered the idea from the group, and then made the script. That would save problems down the road. I could crank out a game idea in like two minutes, but I'd never be able to animate it or program it, that only leaves me being able to write, which is helpful for us that aren't talented in those means. I don't know why I can't understand programming code though.
A person's life isn't measured by what they do, but by how hard they work for what they believe in.

AWESOME! Can't wait. Especially for the zombie game jam!

Those are the jams that have themes because of their dates. Even if the themes were secret, if they turned out to be just that, nobody would be surprised.
I definitely won't participate in every Jam... just when I feel like it, have a big break, whatever. But I do like the idea of having more of these in general.
I'll definitely try to be part of the movie jams & robot day! If I do make something for robot day, I'm going to try to get it done early, as seeing as there's something special that I hope will take up the majority of my summer
I like the idea of having movie jams too but I do think it's a little much to have one each month.
If you have too many of these things I think participants won't be as enthusiastic about them.

Hey! The April game jam will take place on my wedding day.
It sounds really awesome, but would it detract from the specialness of each jam? Kinda like having Christmas multiple times or something, it would detract from the anticipation if we knew there was another one every month. Just a thought. Love that there are so many opportunities though
Okay, just one thing, wouldn't that take some of the novelty out of it? Whatever, it still sounds cool.

Well congrats!
I like the idea of "Jams". It could be applied to anything, so I hope to see art and maybe lit jams in the future.
I love going out in mid summer to pick wild blueberries, raspberries and strawberries for some really awesome jams and preserves for tasty snacks later in the year!

If any of my relatives still grow grapes, do you want any?
And here I thought Robot day was just a one time thing >:(

MCAS isnt on the weekend and if you need to study for that test you should probably consider a career in fast food
I'm happy with the increased number of Game Jams. I really enjoyed doing the last one, even if the game we made wasn't perfect, and I wouldn't have been able to do another in June. So I would have had to wait until December to do it again.
But come late February, I am bringing my A-game.
I do agree with others that you shouldn't be telling everyone the themes beforehand, though.

...and this is my fag...
The February Game Jam will be around my midterms, and the April one will be around my finals.
So I'm out of both of those :(
Oh well. As long as I can manage 1 or 2 a year I'll be happy :)
GAH!
That is a great schedule that you just made, Tom Fulp.

What's the theme for April Fools Day this year? I was thinking Brian Peppers.
