A dream inside a dream inside a dream inside a dream inside a COLLAB.

What is this Inception? NO. Its a collab. Sort of inspired by inception I guess...

Anyway, the idea is to do a collaboration of a never ending dream.
Each part is a dream. At the start of the dream you need a character waking up into a dream. And at the end, there needs to be a "kick".
If you've seen Inception the kick is what makes you wake up, like the sensation of falling.
But for this collab it can be anything. For example, a bear eating the character, or something like that.

I guess the goal is to just experiment with animation and have fun.

Frame rate: 24fps
Dimensions: 720x480
Background: Will be white.
Sig: Put you name at the top right of the screen, not too big.
Length: Doesn't matter, as long as there is a character waking up at the start and a kick at the end.
Parts: Shouldn't matter how many there are. Also I can manage the menu if its AS2, but if someone else wants to they can.
Sound: Do sound effects if you want to but music will be put on last if it needs it. Which it probably will.
Genre: Its a dream so it can be anything, drama, comedy etc.

NO DICKS.
No sprites.
Don't be a lazy douche.

----Deadline----
Lets say the the 10th of February for now. I can extend it if most people need more time.

If you want to do a specific part, say the first dream or the last dream, thats fine.

I use flash CS4 so unless you use CS5 I don't think there will be any problems.

one question:

is there a universal character (maybe that you will design) so that each artist draws their own version of the same character? or is it a different character each time/dream?

Sure man. The characters will be different each time, so do your character/characters however you like!

Anyone can get in unless it gets over ten, then I'll just pick the people who have decent animations/art to show.

I mean its not strictly fbf, you can tween some parts of character movements and things. But yeah I agree with you, the rules are no sprites.

Have something happen to the character. Like the character dies or falls or something, no big deal. Just keep in mind the the shot right after it will be another character waking up and do whatever comes to mind.
