I don't really care about the choice of genre of band, but I'm happy you said "Rock" and "Rammstein". I'm so fucking happy you didn't say Metal !

Alcest isn't exactly Shoegaze, some people call them Blackgaze. They mix Shoegaze, Post-Black Metal and well, they do it pretty much perfectly !

For me, I'd have to say easy rock. It's mostly because I remember seeing this one commercial for something called "Easy Rock" and nearly all the stuff they had there was stuff that I like. Then again, I have heard more hardcore stuff by Guns 'N Roses and people like that, so you could probably just say rock 'n roll in general. I mostly listen to whatever's popular nowadays, especially given all the stuff we get on YouTube with the most popular recent music videos.
You know the world's gone crazy when the best rapper's a white guy and the best golfer's a black guy - Chris Rock
I have a very diverse taste in music because if it sounds pleasant, I'll put it on my iPhone regardless of genre or language. However two of the most prominent styles of music I love would be Power Metal and Symphonic Metal, specifically Sonata Arctica and Nightwish. They are my two favorite bands.
Albums by them I would recommend would be "The Collection" by Sonata Arctica and "Century Child" by Nightwish if you care to give them a try.
four pages and not a single mention of neofolk. goodnight everybody the internet is over

It's a interesting collective because There's not necessarilly a need to limit myself to only a few genres that i've built bias towards what I think music should be as a standard ...It's sort boring that because you do not hear anything that is new.So I try to deverse my self with every genre possible even if it can be pretty painful or hard to adjust.
Often listening to these genres most of time with no real favorites.

This is how most people feel. They just don't word it that way.
I listen to metal and strictly metal. Not because I'm ignorant, just because I don't like other genres of music. You can call me ignorant if you want, though. Favorite subgenre is black metal, favorite band is Dark Funeral.
