The birds were killed by massive trauma due to fireworks, I have no Idea about the fish.

That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever seen. The "official explanation" doesn't make any sense as I'm sure no one has ever heard of birds dying from "fireworks trauma". I suspect that something else is at work here...
