sorry I am doing training at work and wasn't able to post the results sooner

results are up - go check em out!

I try to make results a day late at most. It's hard having to work with other people - esp. since brokendeck couldn't spearhead the sweeping process this month, so in times liek these you'll have to bear with us :)

So what's on the plate for this month? I may actually have some time to spare for the first time since February.

I blame the drugs.

Working on my current round NGADM submission. If I get eliminated this round it'll be back to business as usual in the NAC sweeper judges table...

Yes, best of luck in the NGADM!

In the meantime, I can't wait to see what challenges September's NAC brings. Or, alternatively, if Chron needs more judges, then I'll volunteer to help with that.

yes I am very strict on deadlines- simply because of all the time given to actually MAKE the song - 3 weeks gives no excuse for late submissions ;)

Chron are you going to take acid or something before judging this months? I think its only fair that you do, for a proper judging perspective =P

Uhhh chron... when I think of drugs and music the ONLY thing I think of is dumb step. Besides, just because other people do drugs then go out to raves and have fun dancing to dub step and you don't doesn't mean you should have a bias against it. Dubstep is rave music and to say "no dub step in this contest" is like saying "no reggae because I hate it. Also it doesn't remind me of drugs at all."

Chron... are you really judging a contest about drug inspired music when you've never done drugs before? This is just a catastrophe waiting to happen.

I'll help you judge if at all possible :/

I'm actually going to participate in a NAC. I'm so making a song that is on drugs. Hope I win but with all the other talent my chances are very poor.

^ This

besides that, the "talent" that you speak of should inspire and give you the motivation in order to be better!

Do we have to make a totally new song from scratch ? Or an old song can be re-used ? I plan to revisit a song I did a year ago and remake it all for the better, for this contest. I did it really high, and I don't see anything else top it, as far as psychedelic songs goes.

Yes, I think the song is that good, to me...

Nevermind what I said. It's posted. I couldn't revisit it. And the answer, I found out, was yes anyway.

Good luck to everyone submitting in the contest ! :-)
