The demo's out? I've been away from my 360 these past few weeks so I didn't know. But yeah, I'm excited. This game was finished a few months back so the developers had tons of time to refine and polish the game so it should definitely be good.

i played the demo, for how scary everyone says it is i was pretty underwhelmed. i expected scarier than this after what everyone said but i admit i flinched when one jumped out of the glass but after that the other two jumping out weren't as scary. Not even the evil church babies.
Worst part is that the most time consuming thing was the puzzle.
Now that i think about it i forgot how i even solved the puzzle. i zapped something with thet time slow down stuff but i forgot what it was.
Even so Dead space is the last thing on my mind.

I'm not gonna like go crazy if I don't get it, I found the first one lost it's novelty after the first playthrough and since I'm super poor I don't get a lot of games so replayability is a must.

It looks amazing but i have had to much trouble with EA games in the past. I'm just going to rent it.

Not ecstatic about it. The first was great for the first hour, then it repeats the same tricks over and over again, the scare factor goes out the door after a good session. As an action-adventure, it's fine. Amnesia and anything of the like, for me, is a real horror, it just belongs there. I know it's a cliché, but any survival horror game that gives you the means to easily defend yourself just looses immersion.

Is it just me or is the ad campaign (That's literally the official website) behind this game counterproductive? Personally I didn't need to be told to check out the sequel but the ads I've been seeing are making me second guess it thinking maybe it would be best to wait until all of the reviews are in instead of picking it up day one.

Instead of an intense survival horror/shooter in a unique setting it's "YO CHECK OUT HOW HIP WE ARE BLOOD AND GORE HECK YEAH YOU KIDZ LOVE THIS STUFF!" I'm now honestly worried that they may have fucked with a winning formula to instead pander to the braindead masses.
