I was too busy being amazing in my new shorts and sunglasses for just $0.03 amazing to get a good look at their name thus spelling it wrong what a shame.

... definitely possible, I think you could get a decent story out of 8 pages without becoming too demanding. I was reminded of a manga comic contest Sarai ran a few years ago, which only required a couple of pages.

Something worth thinking about, definitely.

I'm hoping there's something like Power Of Three, again. After having some fun with JackSmack on the Game Jam, I wouldn't mind producing a larger scale game in the next year.

Since you asked,

I'd personally like to see more small events like Robot day, it was a nice little thing to get people talking.
I missed last years because I didn't know about it, is that on the calender?
This year though it's happening.

Other than that I can't find much more to be desired here.

It's a Wooley World, but someones got to shave it...

All of that is coming when the Lit Portal arrives!

That is one of the things I'll be posting about soon - a post-redesign feature, but I want to be sure we're all on the same page with how it gets implemented.

a co-authorship function for multiple audio portal users has been needed for quite some time now.

also if there is anythnig I can do to help speed this damn redesign along lemem know - I work for a living - I don't have to worry about school - I am ALWAYS HERE - even if I am not always signed into every forum on newgroudns- I literally have infinite time to dedicate to this site.

also I hope to see a "FWD all option" in my inbox where I acn fwd a msg to every single person that has me on their favourite user list - imagine the reviews you could generate if you could send a quick msg to every single one of your fans telling them you have new stuff up - without the annoyingness of getting a notification every time every single user YOU have faved barrages you with new song notifications - that way it has to be generated through the effort of the user to their fans.

How do you feel about this past year on Newgrounds? We can talk about feature requests later - what would you like to see from the COMMUNITY in 2011, in terms of collaboration, events, projects, competitions, themes, etc.? And what are your own personal resolutions?

I would liek to see a return to some good ol' flas series - when I first came to newgrousdn there was always some new series episode comnig out - foamy, RAB, waterman, now it seems there is less and less.

I'd also like to see some streamlined monthly themes. The audio portal used to have the MAC - which I want to bring bac (monthly audio contest) where the idea proposed was always different, but always involving audio, and prizes were given.

I also think it'd be funny if the theme of ngs was changed for notable people days - like say birthdays :P

I'm hoping to see more people step out of their comfort zone with new, untested ideas and platforms. We should all take a step back from what we've been doing and be ready to learn and try new things to advance ourselves and the whole creatively. I would also like to see more people turn to each other for support and assets; more programmer / artist relationships, more integration of music from the Audio Portal, more movies made by multiple artists, musicians, voice actors and writers.

perhaps we could have it that mediums other than flash are uploadable? So movie-type formats could be uploaded?

Happy 2011 all!

Sheesh, it's been long since I posted anything or visited NGs, but maybe, possibly, adding a notification of favorite artist's new uploads (animation, games, music, art, etc.) would be just swell.

I also like the many other suggestions, including more NG jammin' sessions.

So, I guess, keep the NG engine raging (mighty proud of NG past). And for all artists and fans keep creating. Don't dare try to tame it inside (I'm planning on releasing 24hr animation and games soon).

To 2011!:)

I'm pretty disappointed the Time only mention the gaming aspect of this website.

I don't even think about games all that much when I think about Newgrounds. The flash cartoons are the goldmine in my opinion. Johnny Utah, Stamper, Oney, Spazkid (etc.) Newground dedicated flash artists have soo much potential in an animation career, but we only seem to be recognized for our flash games that are found on tons of other websites.

Not to mention our amazing forums :3

I think that this year was a great year! We got so much accomplished. I'd say this might beat flash portal 2007. And I think that newgrounds is perfect the way it is now. This year we should try and focus on the chat rooms.

I wish a happy new year you crazy diamonds! :D

That was a great year for me.
- I finally started to submit things, and I'm working on a brand new flash game, and other ideas. I would like to be a designer or a writer on some project as well.
- I got a job in a game developer team.

I hope together with our community efforts, we can turn this site into something even greater!

Tom, the NG Wiki is not actually a wiki. Wikis are community-edited. The "NG Wiki" is just a website, like any other, as far as I can tell.

Is there any reason why you're calling it a wiki?

(Likewise, WikiLeaks is not a wiki either, though it used to be one a few years ago. Assange turned that part off, but the name has stayed)
