I loved this year on Newgrounds.
This is my second year on this site and you may see me more in the future!
Happy New Year!
Thanks a lot NG! Best of luck this year.
Hope i'll be a more active this year, hah.
It'll be nice to see another redesign, so keep up the work! Will that 'account type thingy' ever be something useful in the future?
Visiting Newgrounds Since 2003
We did do awesome and you forgot to mention about us and the March Mayhem and us with our Newgrounds Car (that almost became real)
2010 was pretty cool. I really liked the madness day submissions this year. Keep it up and Happy New Years (even though I think it's pointless to celebrate).
The theory of the devil is troll physics.
I JUST WANNA FUCK JEFF hahah yeahh nah
2011 will be a good year
just you wait i know what my horoscope said!
well happy 2011
well happy new years everyone, in the 18th of novemer this will be my 6th year of newgrounding :)
i'd like to see newgrounds expanding to new platforms more.
like getting peoples games from newgrounds to be re-developed and worked to get it on my xbox.
this would be great for aspiring game makers.
also getting peoples films and videos into peoples homes.
i know the ng store already has some dvds but i'm talking random videos that people make that people like.
something like the top weekly release can be put on a dvd with a whole bunch of other videos.
getting newgrounds to new platforms would be awesome
1-1-11 Great date. Doesn't the number 2011 just look so, futuristic? I'm looking forward to the new layout, although I'm happy with the 2007 one for the most part.
One thing I would like to see is a literature section (I know there is one, not what I mean), where users can upload their writing such as poetry, comedy and stories to be rated by the NG community. This would make it easier for every one to submit content, regardless if they have flash. Just thinking out loud here guys

I thought it was very solid year, in terms of my NG-related activity. I definitely enjoyed Pico Day and all of the other holidays, interacting with other NG personalities at Meet-Ups and other NG gatherings, and watching new flash artists/game programmers emerge from obscurity into the limelight with their contributions.
We can talk about feature requests later - what would you like to see from the COMMUNITY in 2011, in terms of collaboration, events, projects, competitions, themes, etc.?
Even though it seems difficult, I would enjoy seeing more collaboration between flash artists and the Lit Forum. I understand that most artists make their own scripts and characters, and would be averse to using someone elses' script, but perhaps a contest could force this issue a bit.
Also, an Art Portal/Lit Forum collaboration could occur via a short, Graphic Novel Contest.
And what are your own personal resolutions?
To make more awful awful flashes, obviously.
Also, maybe learn some programming basics. Sometime.
Lol, I know you said no suggestions, but I'm still rooting for some sort of svn like gui versioning system.
Okay I think now you guys can finally make
- the chat
- the edit button
- a section for the art portal in the settings that shows your reviews etc. like the other portals have

I was too busy being amazing in my new shorts and sunglasses for just $0.03 amazing to get a good look at their name thus spelling it wrong what a shame.

... definitely possible, I think you could get a decent story out of 8 pages without becoming too demanding. I was reminded of a manga comic contest Sarai ran a few years ago, which only required a couple of pages.
Something worth thinking about, definitely.
I'm hoping there's something like Power Of Three, again. After having some fun with JackSmack on the Game Jam, I wouldn't mind producing a larger scale game in the next year.
Since you asked,
I'd personally like to see more small events like Robot day, it was a nice little thing to get people talking.
I missed last years because I didn't know about it, is that on the calender?
This year though it's happening.
Other than that I can't find much more to be desired here.
It's a Wooley World, but someones got to shave it...
