who wants to make a comic

iv been brainstorming a comic idea I'm looking for writers and artists :D PM or just post here. a little bit to know about me is i don't have a lot of writing experience but iv spent the past two weeks writing free hand like crazy because these ideas don't stop and i want to keep writing for a while. which is the reason why i joined newgrounds recently

basically its about characters with "spirits" which are like these ghostly things that follow them around and have many different designs and names that usually reflect their human counter part for examples: Justice,Murder,Hero,Malevolent are some of the names Ive used. the idea came to me as a kid when i watched zatch bell. i hated the show i thought it would have been a better idea of the guys controlling the puppets fought to, and so came this idea but o f course radically different. ill explain the concept more to anyone who want to hear about it.

I think that I get where you going with the idea, since you mentioned Zatch Bell, but I liked that show. The guy that used Zatch did actually try to fight with him, though most of the time that ended in him being severely hurt. anyway. I'm great with writing, and I'm interested in helping with the idea. But maybe this would have been better to have been placed in the collab section of the forum. You said that you need artists and writers, the only reason I'm mentioning it. Either way, I'm game, to at least hear the rest of the idea, though I think it'll be something I'd be interested in participating in. The first one is just the first installment to what I plan on being at least a 7 part series. I figured you'd need a few examples of my writing in order to understand my writing style.

I have a question then: What will you do? Supervise as an editor or something?

no i think i would be a writer. but i lack experienced so a second writer with expierence with writing a comic strip would be nice. its my idea so i wont to be able to make it not just supervise it or something like that

I'm also interested in writing a comic, unfortunately nothing doing until you get an artist. If you can find one I'd definitely be interested in helping out.

I'm looking for people that have experience or a know how to writing comics. iv looked up tutorials but writing a script for a comic is like a whole other level for me. if you know how to write a comic script it could be very useful to the project

Well, I have not been in a Newgrounds flash or had any of my stories published yet, but I have (for lack of an actual number) gazillions of stories I wrote. I would appreciate if I could have a shot at writing/assisting your comic. The idea itself is like a juicy piece of steak to me, completely irresistible. I love stories about the supernatural/fantasy and the spirits idea is right up my alley. Even if you don't want me as a writer, I would be happy to help you improve your writing.

all that can be done with re writes but for now i decided to just write things that get straight to the point of the story.

This is a great idea. But as the guy said above: It needs a little editing. It's too much like the typical cheesy anime plotlines. But the basis is good. With a bit of tweaking to the plot to remove the overused cliches common in these kind of things you could have something truly epic here. I could gladly give you some suggestions if you wanted it.
