This thread was made for the sole purpose of me, asking why the most dysfunctionally annoying members of Newgrounds are 13 years old.
Is there something about being 13 that just makes you that large portion more annoying?

I think you'll find this is an issue that go back well before the internet.

For a lot of people, 13 is the age when someone goes from being a child to being a child who thinks they're an adult, or the beginning of the teenage years - which tends to involve many hormones.

This is usually why most adults find 13 year olds annoying.

In my experience many 13 year olds act annoying because they think it will make them more popular with the older demographic. To any 13 year olds who read this, THAT IS NOT HOW THIS SHIT WORKS.

During the teenage years one year of age actually changes a lot in terms of maturity. Most teenagers mature at a somewhat fast rate, so even a years difference makes a big difference. 13 year olds are the youngest allowed on the site, so their immaturity is more obvious and annoying for the most part.
