Anyway, personally I suggest the Xbox 360. I have owned both consoles and ended up selling the PSP, as each game I played just seemed... shit. The only game I enjoyed properly was MGS: Portable Ops. Also, there is a very small amount of good quality games, and the platform altogether seems to be slowly dieing. Although, since you own a PS3, you can take of advantage of playing any PS1 games or Mini's you may have bought off the PSN store on the go.

The Xbox 360 has great features, and does differ from the PS3. Great exclusives, better online functionality (IMO), and Castle Crashers and Super Meat Boy! Also I kinda prefer the controller, but thats personal preference.And i'm sure you can find plenty of good deals with free games etc.

Before you say anything, i've got both a PS3 and 360, which you can probably work out from my sig. I love both my PS3 and 360 equally, LBP is one of the greatest games ever! :D

Well thats my own opinion, perhaps you will love it more? I do play my 360 more than my PS3. And I wouldn't advice you get a Wii, you might get bored quickly

Still, for texture hacks and stuff, the Wii's pretty much golden for it. I mean, look at modded Brawl videos. They've made some insane stuff. If you want to modify stuff, the Wii's pretty good.

Nah don't get me wrong, Brawl is one of my faviroute games of all time. I also got Donkey Cong country for Christmas, and love it. And that is one hard(core) game.
And i've installed some texture hacks and mods on brawl too. The only reason I said it, is because if he's looking for an Xbox, then the Wii is alot different. I do apologise for saying it gets boring quickly, I just obviously took him as somebody who enjoys violent games like God of War, and lets be honest, the Wii doesn't offer any.

Get a Wii, PSP can't be hacked anymore ever since 6.30 firmware.
Wii can still be, even then it has it's own line up of exclusive titles.
i recommend getting Sonic colors, New super mario bros. wii and Donkey kong country returns, and the conduit.

I HIGHLY reccomend an iPod Touch, when jailbroken hundreds of free games can be downloaded to it, and it's not like these games are shovelware either, a lot of these games are very fun.
Then you can watch YouTube videos, listen to your music, watch films, browse newgrounds, etc

It's like a tablet PC in your pocket
