Use toothpaste. (the smooth kind, not the course stuff)

A spear in your chest and a fire in your ass. I only play as Scorpion in MK games, because I'm that much of a fanboy.

Does this "Scratch" happen to extend from one point on the back of the cd all the way around the cd? And did you happen to move the Xbox, or PC? If yes, then there is no saving the cd, it's now garbage.

It's the laser burning into the disc. Get one of those scratch removers and your disc should be fine again.

What kind of TP did you use? also you can go out and buy a cheap cd cleaner for about $30-40. I bought one for $40 and it worked only once, then the piece of shit broke. I also have successfully used the toothpaste method a few times.
