I enjoy reading and writing poetry, as do a lot of people, but all those threads to read and pick from become tiresome after awhile. I propose we band together and create a comprehensive thread/ forum for both writer and reader, so that we have a greater chance of finding or being found. Whoever is with me, post your content! Do it! Do it now!

I am a master of poetry
Anyone that matters know it be
When I rhyme like I rhyme
People say: "dude, that's fine"
And I laugh and I laugh
And I run into the sunset

Ok. Here's one my made up my own thread from two months ago.

Living on cloud 8
Born on cloud 9
Living divine
So in your mind
I'm too simple
I dwell in the hell that is your temple
So you need sign? How bout a symbol?
A marking of truth
And a scar of lies
I ain't messing with no darkness, heavenly skies
13 eyes stare upon me
3 clouds float above thee
7 spirits are amongst ye
Who are we?
We are the gods, the kings, made from heavenly things
We need peace, war, and all in between
We need clouds to look forward to
People need to surround you
Judgment has been evaded
In the ending we are related
Adam and Eve
We were deceived
Now let's redeem ourselves
Either pick the clouds....
Or the fires of Hell.
Peace!

I don't make poems. I read them and cry to their beauty. Oh how I love poems.

It's two o'clock at night,
make a rhyme, I might.
But ow my head is aching,
I better write in the morning.

But I fought the sleepiness and won!
My rhyme is finally done.

a very old poem of mine, what i rather hate(wrote it like 5 years ago)

At End At Last

I show thy Claws
I show thy Fangs
I show thy soul,
As cold as winter in eternity,
By day I dream,
By night I wish, thy wish for two,
I show thy Claws
I show thy Fangs
Thy soul grows cold
Thy soul grows cold
As thy heart burns warm,
I show thy Claws
I show thy Fangs
Are these but tools?
I know they are,
I'm I but a tool?
Thy a tool to you?
I show thy Claws
I show thy Fangs,
Thy a game to you?
Thy no sheep!
I show thy Claws
I show thy Fangs
Thy no wolf,
Thy no dog, who,
Looks after sheep
But thy be kind as dog,
Thy know thy place like dog,
I show thy Claws
I show thy Fangs,
Thy be hunter like wolf
Thy be outsider like wolf
Thy blood runs cold like wolf
Thy have fangs and claws like wolf,
But is a wolf not a dog?

I know thy
But what be thou?
Do you toy with thou prey?
Do you hunt and fight?
Show thou claws
Show thou fangs
Or be thou sheep?
Or be thou dog?

Thy words I ask, Thou words I say
What be thou, what be thou to thy?
If you be wolf, what shall come of thy,
If you be dog, what's shall come of thou sheep,
If you be sheep, what shall come of thou?

Thy is wolf, thy is dog,
Thy know both
Thy fight both

Thy problem is, thou warm hand,
Show love to dog, show kindness to dog,
Then..............
Show love to wolf and kindness
You toyed with me, did you not?
All thy want is to see thou, but like a,
Dog I need thou word
Thy question be what be thou?
And do I have thou word?

Ahhh i posted the cursed thing
Again.. .. ..

Here are three of my favorite poems that I have created in the past. I'm looking for your opinions and critisisms more than anything else. Thanks :)

Slowly Drifting Through a Star Ocean...
September 24, 2009

High above the mountain tops
High above the sea
High above the Milky Way
Flying high, just you and me

Grab my hand
And hold on tight
With nothing but stars
We're alone in the universe tonight

All around us
A meteor shower
We could drift on forever
Carefree of the hour

Out here in the endless
There isn't a sound
Just my hand in yours
Lets turn around

Back into civilization
Passed the space debri
Joyous from the time with you
Ma petite cherri

High above the Milky Way
High above the sea
High above the mountain tops
Grounded until tomorrow, just you and me.

Lost Garden
December 14, 2008

A silver tulip
In a garden of grey
Caught my eye
And my heart one day

Magnificent leaves
With a lucid reflection
Reflecting the light
In every direction

I'll sit in the dirt
Beside the efflorescence
Content to become one
With the beautiful essence

After tomorrow's dawn
And the spring morning dew
We will see if we have become one
Just me and just you.

Seaward
March 16, 2009

Standing ashore
But mind floating high
Lost in the currents and reflections
Of the horizon's forgotten tears

Seaward the mind floats away
Dancing on the ripples
From the soft melodic voice of the wind
And maternally caressed by its will

Of all the times lost
Where stories are born and told
In the endless expanse of sea
Is where I'll spend my years

It's time to set sail
And aim for the far
I'm off on a journey
To the edges of the earth

Should I return
I'll be surprised myself
But how can one predict
A future not in sight?

A forward only journey
A trip back in time
Where a mast has become
My body and mind.

I've got a sad one I wrote:

We are the dead,
We are forgot,
We fought in life
and left in death,
We waged our war
We all died for,
But now in death,
there's nothing left.

I score a goal

Some faggot fret
The poll was about my dead pet
I hate Bob Sagets

Kinda old. This was my attempt at writing something tastelessly humorless and dark.

Two cats sitting at the top of the stairs
Small and fluffy and covered in hairs
Boot went out and met her side
She tried to hold on, but was denied

There's a cat falling down the case of stairs
Shedding blood and shedding hairs
Nothing to grasp on that wild ride
She hit the bottom, and then she died

Now a cat looks from the top of the stairs
His eyes follow down the trail of loose hairs
At the bottom, he saw his bride
He saw what had happened, and then he cried

One cat sitting at the top of the stairs
One cat

this is a poem i submitted to an ealier thread, but i think its pretty good...

nine minutes to write this and don't get me wrong
its jus the sad and dark stuff i find easier to put to rhyme and song.
(intro rhyme...very nice.)

I used to wonder where he sun went at night
I found my self alone, surrounded by fright
Why had it left me alone in the dark
Alone I wonder in this dim lit park

Even in the day, the sky seems black
And at nigh i fear the sranger at my back
And i cant shake the solemn feeling
so from others i resort to stealing

I swear hat im alone by the moon and stars
Lulled away from my self by the passing cars.
Away they go like everyone else had
Was this some sort of punishment for acting bad?

And still im alone in a crowded room
among the noise, im still alone in my own tomb
will someone help to subside my dismal state?
or am i doomed to my tortuous state?

if i missed any T related errors, im sorry.
my t buons broke, and you insults will bring me to tears
(bonus rhyme closing!)

The sappy one:

At first a sheet of empty white,
The name begins to find a flavour,
And such will be the villain's plight,
The taste of his will spark disfavour.

But if you were to find a love,
Though first his moniker may seem strange,
It changes to a turtle dove,
To music angels have arranged.

The normal-ish one I posted a while ago on Blogspot.

Spilt Milk
Stones stand at guard,
Long row by row;
Mist coated markings
Have nowhere to go.
Spilt milky watchers
Protect each of their lords,
With everlasting eyes,
On heavenly hoards.
