What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?

Cannibal Holocaust

An anthropologist heads a rescue party into the South American jungle to find a missing film team making a documentary on cannibal tribes but can only return with their footage, which reveals their crueler intentions.

Very creepy. They have real animals being killed, detailed rape scenes, and we see a guy cut off his leg. Its one of the most controversial movies of all-time. The director was even arrested for animal abuse and obscenity.

Besides this, it is perhaps the most brilliant and disturbing "horror" film of the eighties. You should see it if you have the chance.

Cannibal Holocaust wasn't that bad.
August Undergrounds Mordum was pretty bad, a simulated snuff film featuring some of the darkest, sicks acts of humanity in detailed ways.

dude cannibal holocaust wasnt even that scary they just kill the shit out of a real turtle and it reminded me of a story i once heard where a man broke into an catholic orphanage at night and murdered and raped every manfaced nun in the whole joint! the only child without a terrible deafening ear infection heard the ruckus and awoke to check on what was happening, pet turtle in hand. the man committing the atrocities had just wrapped up his final rape of the night and was in a merciful mood (most likely due to the clearheadedness a man gains after ejaculation), so he walked up to the child, pushed him on the floor, grabbed the turtle, slammed that sucker on a table, took out the hammer, and brought it down upon that poor turtles head and body with apelike fury until his tiny turtle shell audibly cracked like a fresh stalk of bamboo betwixt a hungry pandas teeth. the point is: this tragic event occurred on xmas eve, and thats today. some say the man still visits the orphanage every year to keep the tradition alive BUT ILL NEVER TELL~ ;-)

There is no entertainment factor to this. It's just mindless pathetic and sick. Done for shock factor and yeah it gets that.

i forgot a crucial element of this story: the boy started crying at the sight of the mutilated mushy mess of turtle smashings that remained and the man called him a big dumb baby & peed on the boys pants so it would look & smell as if the boy himself had peed on his own pants and people would agree with the accusation that he is in fact a big dumb baby who cries and wets himself, for such is the nature of a large unintelligent infant
