If you can't sound good with a shitty guitar in-tune then you aren't going to sound good period.

Get a metronome and practice with it. It will help you suck less.

I'm being serious. If you need accessories for your guitar to think you're playing good, you aren't doing it right. The only thing I could think of would be non-guitar accessories, or a fucking finger slide.

Seriously though just practice scales and learn the basic chords. After you have some dexterity learn bar chords, and remember to press your thumb against the back of the neck.
Unless your learning punk or thrash. Then you just need power chords mostly.
Practice everyday!

Then why the fuck are you asking for guitar accessories to make it sound cool?

Oops. Based on your latest post I guess you're not new to this...
...If you want to sound good sonically, some music stores will let you test out their pedals before you buy them. Go crazy.
Get a Dimebucker pickup. Make it sound so fucking grungy you can barely stand it.
Also, there's a NG Guitarists club in C&C. They're probably a lot more likely to be helpful than the "+1 fuck you" crowd on General.

Ok thanks to the guys who are actually talking constructive here. Thanks for your input
nothing its probably a piece of shit anyways...
I heard if you smash your guitar to the point where you can't play, it gets a really nice tone.
That's all you need.
Now start practicing... there's no short-cut to "good". It comes through hours and hours and hours of work. Sorry, but thems the ropes. Now get to it... times a waisting.

To sound cooler, new pickups.
To make playing easier. Practice. And maybe guitar classes.

Well you're obviously a n00b on the subject.
There's nothing at all that you can get to make it "play easier".
You can get things to make it sound different, but wither it sounds cooler or not is always an opinion.
Here's a list of some of them :
-Whammy bar, increase or decrease tremolo.
-Effects pedal, you can get many sorts of these, all for different effects. You can also get ones you can preset yourself.
-A better amp, amp's you get with guitars and almost always shit, so you'll probably need another one.
-Capo, you place this on different frets of the neck give the effect of 'baring' a fret. Which means to place your finger across a whole fret. Simple solution to small hands to impossible baring.
-A tuner, you know what this is, hopefully.
-Some new strings, over time your old strings will gradually sound shitter and more "clangy". Best to change them at least once a year. I change mine every 3-4 months.
-Virtual software, if you're rich, or a pirate, get some awesome effects software. You can get link your guitar through your computer, this will most probably give you the most freedom with effects. Since you have everything ever, practically, in one program. If you have a recent mac then you should have garage band, which is what that is.
:)
I'm also getting a new acoustic for Christmas ;D
Maybe one of those things you attach to your guitar so that chords are already pressed down. You could get a new strap, wa wa pedal, or a distortion pedal.

Sorry :P
Well yeah, metal picks are the worst. It's nearly impossible to play without getting a scratching sound on the strings as you play.
