Laptop or Kindle?

I'm being offered either a laptop or a Kindle for Christmas. I'm not sure which one to get because I love reading, but my computer is a bit underpowered. Newgrounds, what do you recommend?

Go with the laptop. You can get a kindle later down the road. However if you really like reading then get the kindle and keep posting on whatever computer you are using at the moment.

I'm considering getting a better one, as the hinge is broken and it's rather worn down. Besides that, it works fine. I'm thinking of getting the Kindle as my laptop can hold out a bit longer.
