1. Heat a glass of water to the point where it's hot but not hot enough to burn your mouth.
2. Stir and dissolve one table spoon at a time into it till it doesn't resolve anymore.

My mom said that whenever I get a sore throat I should try putting salt in water and drinking that. I did that sometimes and I do not remember if it really did me much good, but a better thing to do would just be to take some aspirin. That is known for helping inflammation of any kind in your body. Try not to yell or really talk at all when you have a sore throat or it will cause more stress. Other than that, just take it easy.
