Assuming that Newgrounds isn't too braindead, you should also be able to use entities: i.e., writing &amp;lt;a&amp;gt; should be displayed as &lt;a&gt; and so on. There's one thing I miss. The pop up. I found that really useful. Now it'll be a little difficult to get used to the new Grounds Gold Menu system with no pop up. :| Other than that, I like it. Maybe new profile layouts will come quite soon.

This new one is cool, because.... well, it's new.
But everything is so spaced out...
With the old GG menu, I could see everything I wanted right infront of me without scrolling anywhere - and I personally don't care for the descriptions of every option available to tamper with in the menu, it's just so that all the links don't confuse teh dang nubs...

It's alright though.

Yeah, I checked that, too. I gotta admit I like the new post history, though - I just wish there was a compact list of all topics I've posted to, sorted by the date they received their last reply. That would be handy.

Fuck yes. Something you could tamper around with would be great... like a listing of all threads you've posted in - but you could order them in terms of stuff like;
A) How big the threads are
B) How recently you posted there
C) How many posts you have in each thread
D) How big your posts were.

I know it's a little far fetched to be implicated, but stuff like that would really turn on the stat-whore in me.

Or to take things a little further - have a feature that enables you to keep tabs on threads without having to search for them in the forum or anything like that... like have an option that lets you select threads that you want to keep track of, and it will alert you (say, a little pop up in your grounds gold menu) of any new posts in the threads you want to know about, when they were made, by whom, etc.

Yeah, I'll get used to this as well. Also, anyone noticed the BBS search is now updated? I checked to see some threads on the search bar and saw the layout being changed. Now, profile update should be very soon, OMFG!

Love the new BBS search. Although, they should work on functionality, rather than aesthetics.

What I don't want to happen is profiles going to be on Newgrounds page like Grounds Gold Menu. However, the rest, I want to see the following things on profile:
-Favourite Video games (and maybe some more favourite stuff)
-Total B/P count
-MSN, Yahoo ID able to post

And some other things, but those are what I want the most.

I didn't see about a favourite books in the NG evolution thread anywhere, but since you can search for books on Amazon, I think it'll be possible for favourite books to be on there.

You could try GAIM. It has its issues, admittedly (1.5.0 does, that is; the new 2.0 beta might be better, but I won't use that until the bugs that doubtlessly still exist have been shaken out), but it generally works well enough and integrates most networks in one program. I rather like it myself.

I'm really liking the ideas for the new profile layout that have been suggested here - a total sum of your b/p points just under the current field would be mantastic, and I think that the AIM field could be altered, as in when you're editing your profile, a drop down menu is available from which you select your preferred IM program, and then you put in your address or what have you; so in your profile you dont have a list of 50 IM programs, just the one you use with your address.
