The Alien Collab

Hello and welcome to The Alien Collab.

In this collab I would like you guys to create various artworks featuring aliens/UFOs which will be compiled into a flash. A typical art collab really.

The Rules

- The picture must be 550px wide and 400px tall.
- The picture must stick to the theme (obviously).
- I would like to keep the collab at a teen rating at most so no adult material.
- I plan to have buttons at the top courners of the pictures so keep this in mind.
- Please sign your work on a bottom courner.
- Co-authors will be chosen by quality over quantity.

There is no set deadline at the moment, one will be set at a later date. I will be frequently visiting this thread to stat which art works have been accepted and also to post works of my own.

Have fun making these works and I'm sure we'll get some great pieces.

how will this animate, will we be given a template to work on so it flows or is it any colour as long as it fits the theme so it animates just like a slideshow?

I was going to have a next and a bck button added to each piece so the viewer can go t there own pace.

Do 50s era robots count as aliens or do I need to make them fighting ufos for it to qualify?

I love aliens and such but I dunno, this collab isn't bold no offense.

Cool! Not the most innovative idea but it should turn out pretty good. If your gonna use that as the title page then you should improve on it. The alien is the brightest blue possible while the title is a dark purple and blends messily into the background because of the filter you've used and the colours all together could be a lot better.

Yeah I'll probibly re-do it. Chances are I'm going to give this collab till about febuary time, simply to give another time for people to produce some great work and also theres christmas and I don't expect anybody to work on this during that few days.

Well, I had a couple of attempts, but the aliens looked stupid so i scrapped them and decided to design the alien first before I drew it here.

This is what I came up with. I also experimented with cross-hatching. I think it makes a difference.

Just showing you guys, so you know I'm actually doing something. Kay?

Ironic, because I performed an autopsy on an alien just the other day, where the cause of death was severe hemorrhaging due to a ruptured intestine from what was probably.... A PROBING!!!!!

Piece of advice, use a pen when you crosshatch Lintire. Otherwise all the details you made will just be smudged away. Plus it's more cleaner.
