I'm both intrigued, depressed, and curious as to why you think that way. I want to improve the situation, but I doubt this thread is going to be some life-changing moment for anyone here. When I'm not trying to be a tough guy on this site who gets all of the jokes, I don't know, I actually like making friends.

Actually my main problem is my lack of trying to make friends. Everytime I make friends I seem to lose interest and just not want to bother continuing. It's becoming a hard habit to break. It's not like I find making friends hard because I don't, I just find it hard myself to want to have friends.

My opinion on this is that it's like anything else in life; Be satisfied with the present moment. If your happiness is conditional you will have much trouble in finding it and moreover sustaining it.

I've chatted extensively off site with one or two Newgros but for the most part I remain fairly detached because I don't feel the need to chase after peoples' attention. As well I rarely encounter someone so consistently badass and agreeable that I find it necessary to hound them down.
