Flash site logo

I need help thinking of ideas for a logo for a gaming site that's in the works called flashocracy.com. The name is a portmanteau of flash and democracy. The democracy is meant to mean like the actual definition of democracy: with everyone having a voice in the content of the site. I want to stay away from logos that deal with Americanism, as the logo needs to resonate to a global user base. I can explain more about the site itself if anybody's interested or if that will perhaps help anybody in conceptualizing a logo. By the way, this is just a brainstorm session for fun, I'm not asking anyone to make a logo for me...

I dont know exactly what spacecake here pushed up his arse, but yeah it would be nice if you could post some examples or perhaps some ideas you already had. That would make it easier for me to help you.
