New rule Bethesda don't call your game a legendary edition of any game if said game still suffers from the Same problems as the original.

Ah, Dragonborn adds a new type of dragon too, and while I had a hard time riding dragons, I would say that's neater than crossbows.

Well I liked the idea of riding dragons, but it just feels a bit useless. You can't really get anywhere and it's hard to dispatch of enemies.

Level 86. Not finished Dawnguard or Dragonborn.

I'm at level 79 myself and still playing frequently, even though I have done about every single quest in the game by now.

I am about to, if I wish, but I want to get all the perks before stepping up to Lord Hakron, Miraak and the Ebony Knight.

Have you defeated Karstaag yet?

I tried once, but it seems like you have almost no chance of success as a mage character.

It doesn't really matter, because even though some races are more adaptable to become certain classes with time even an orc can become a master wizard (orcs are usually heavy fighters btw).

But I guess thar Dunmers/Dark Elves is the best starter for new players. They start with the most varied skill set. Having the good fortune to good at fighting, magic and sneaking.

I see. To be honest, I might start as a Khajiit simply because I find it cool to play as a cat.

I had briefly started a new game a while back as a black and white Khajiit and was planning on being as evil as possible with him, but I never even did everything with my first character. I came up with a Khajiit name for him, too, after looking up a bit of info on their names and meanings and stuff.

Argonians are pretty cool, hardly get poisoned and can breath underwater.

Argonians don't have any poison resistance but they do have 50% disease resistance.

Aye, that's what I meant. Far too many times have I forgot to go to a shrine just to develop some disease, also getting Sanguinare Vampiris is fucking annoying.

As you did I also looked up Khajiit names and meanings and named my Khajiit character "Qa`Zhirr" which means if I remember correctly "unknown thief" or something. Thought it was fitting since the PC usually is a blank slate and nobody knows anything about him/her. Oh yeah, he was a thief also.

This thread being alive again is making me want to replay the game but I'm burned out on it. It lasted significantly longer than almost every other game I've played but. Whenever I start a new game I get bored in an hour.

I've played most of the western fantasy RPGs in the last few years and I'm thoroughly bored with all of them. I enjoyed them but I play them way too much too quickly and lose interest after doing everything. I guess I'll have to wait until ESVI or Inquisition.
