I thought this game was being overhyped
It is impossible to overhype a TES game. I've been waiting for this game ever since I was done with Oblivion, and this one just looks so much better. When I first heard that it was being set in Skyrim I was a little worried that it was just going to be nothing but snowy mountains covered by forests, but it was said in the preview that there are 7 main environment types, which is awesome.
These random dragon battles look so much better than I imagined and I was even more pleased when he confirmed that they aren't scripted events. Something else that I noticed during the dragon battle was that he actually entered the tower without first having to sit through a loading screen. Or at least it appeared this way. I imagine there will need to be some ingame loading screens for a game as big as Skyrim, but it some of the smaller buildings don't require it, that would be awesome.
E3 has shown me so many games to be excited over, but Skyrim definitely tops them all and it looks like another great addition to the TES series that could easily keep my attention for a very long time.
