It's a shame that Skyrim wasn't ready for release now. I'm really in need of a new game to play over the summer and it would have fit the role perfectly. I've actually not really been reading up on this game as much as I thought I would. In some ways I'd like to keep the experience as new and possible when it is released, but at the same time I need something to be excited about in the mean time.

But isn't it better than Bethesda releasing an unfinished mess of a game? Nobody wants another Dragon Age 2 to be released.

Still can't wait for this game, its going to be amazing by just going off the trailer. The new engine has me excited and the way I see it, when this comes out it'll be time for Bethesda to start working on Fallout 4. Fallout aside, I plan on dedicating release to searching as many caves as possible and slaying everything in sight. Seriously, looking forward to this more so than Gears 3.

I don't ever recall seeing a demo for any TES game, sadly. On the plus side, it should make getting the actual game even more exciting that it no doubt already will be.

Am I the only one that hopes you can roleplay more easily this time around? I mean, sometimes I would just make a character and say "this guy is gonna be a chef" and just go into a restaurant and do chef like things. With the closest chef-like clothes I could find.

I absolutely cannot wait for Elder Scrolls V it took me all the way up until now just to get bored of freakin' Morrowind. Other than the first Elder Scrolls I've played and enjoyed all of them enthusiastically. The 2nd one kept me entertained for a year or so while Morrowind has lasted in my entertainment department until now I finally decided to start playing Oblivion a lot more until Skyrim is released. Man I'm still not over how great Oblivion is.

I just watched the trailer and now I know I'm getting the collector's edition, I can't miss this.

As soon as this is up for preorder, I will be getting the most mega special super edition there is. Watched the demo live and its so beautiful. The environments look amazing. I was watching it and those big furry things just walking around in the distance, and the giant lurking. It looks so immersive and the environment looks so alive. The world just looks so... deep.

When they were mentioning factions at the end of the gameplay video, he didn't mention anything about about a Morag Tong / Dark Brotherhood type guild. Then again, are those two even considered factions?

I'd be very sad if there wasn't an assassin's guild to join. :(

Anyway, playing through Morrowind pretty often to suppress my excitement for this game. Morrowind is good but I'm not sure it has aged well, especially to casuals who loved Oblivion like me. Still enjoying it regardless, because I've seriously played Oblivion so much I could probably play through it with my eyes closed.
