IS their anyway to mess with the settings to try and rix this , or do I just need to practice with it more?
Try drawing the lines faster. I know my hand is really shaky, and it really shows when I use the tablet. Generally, drawing lines swiftly = cleaner lines.
If you're using flash, try not to go too high or too low on the smoothing. around 50 works like a charm.
Yes, what gum said, also, what program are you using? Some programs have better tracking than others, and if it is vector, obviously you can adjust line smoothing. I assume you're talking photoshop, in that case, faster hand movments, try drawing with your entire arm and not from your wrist. Also, work really big, like three times you projected size, then shrink the image down, that will cause the illussion of smoothing as the program scales your art.
sound advice :). Im using the tools in flash to draw, I just installed new drivers/ messed with settings and its LOADS better now :)
It helped me steady my hand when I added a little weight to the end of my stylus
art is an exercise
and you have to build the muscle (and muscle memory) over time :)
