Correct me if I am wrong but I think Tom is saying that if you want featured to stop using copyrighted music in your animation projects.
I can see that.
Also if you are making a game, then no where should you use any copyrighted images or music, as you are making a profit from it, either by sponsors or by flash ads.
They did rule that you are allowed to make fan made creations using copyrighted music, as long as credit is given and no profit is being made.
So if there is a song you herd and you just HAVE to make a animated video to, you can, just dont expect it to be featured. (also credit it properly)
And if you are doing a stick fight or sprite animation and just want the ambient music, there are plenty of great stuff in the audio portal.
I dont think he is telling ppl what they can or can not submit (unless its against the TOS)
Just saying its not getting featured and is urging the community to team up and be original.
