I've gotten the Pizza Job and the Skateboard job maxed.
Pizza job gets you a Pizza that gives 100+ HP and something else, Int or Charm I can't remember.
Skateboard job gets you a faster skateboard than the normal ones.

I took the middle one and just got credits. Also, Professor Ansel isn't in the university anymore. Perhaps you are only allowed to complete the game once when you pick the middle portal? Someone pick the portal on the left when they beat the game, it looked like a screenshot of SRPG 1.
