Q: Who can join?
A: It's a combo of criteria, namely, who CAN commit, who understands the commitment (it's like MindChamber's robotic fist up your tar-star for the better whole of a day), and who can animate.

For the sake of time/debate, folks involved in the last round have first refusal on rejoining the group.

A: I'm aiming for some day in last week of December ... maybe December 28th? We'll see what the consensus is on best scheduling days. BUT PLEASE review the project page for accurate info

A: Yes pl0x. And again with the first-refusal, in case previous (amazing) composers wanna take another swing.

If we can't lock down some original music for the project in the next week, we'll go with something in the audio portal.

More about the 24HRC

The 24 Hour Collab. Both a challenge and exercise in pressure-driven animation, the 24HRC is meant to push artists beyond their comfort zone, in order to create the best possible work within the shortest amount of time. Often, the artistic goals are lofty, and while the artists may not succeed in perfecting their vision, in testing their boundaries, they learn skills and techniques that will no doubt influence their future work to come.

Original music is another part of the 24HRC, as the project is meant to be a true collaboration of Newgrounds talent. This custom-made score serves as the backbone for the strategic planning behind all the madness.

Artists, both reputable and unsung, are welcome to take part in this project, which always guarantees a wide range of talents and styles. We hope you enjoy our 2nd 24HRC, and we look forward to the future of this insane and wrist breaking series.

So glad to see so many folks interested in the project, seeing as we've got 6 confirmed (plus Lilg maybe?), and the Interested Talent Pool is already somewhat crowded, I'm going to have to put a cap on it, like now.

I certainly didn't anticipate the turnout for this one. And if need be, perhaps we'll round up a sound 24 hour collab after, we'll see if I'm still alive, otherwise, I'm sure someone else could head another 24 hour collab.

December 29th was the overwhelmingly unanimous day for the collab, which works perfectly for me, as I'll be returning from MN on the 28th.

Kinda both, actually.

Depending on the song, we'll need other slots filled.

As for co-author, there's only 10 slots available, and I believe we'll have ten slots filled by confirmed artists, so for anyone who's not confirmed and isn't willing to join without a co-author, they should bail now.

If anything we may need a couple of the Reserves ... but again, it depends on the length of the song.

The 10 confirmed slots are pretty much the co-authors... though we only 9 right now :)

If confirmed member is willing to give up their co-author, to another part (if we use them), I could see that being fine. That actually happened last time.
