Darkmaster603 is trying to get a scholarship so he can attend Ivy Tech. He'll get one if his YouTube video wins their contest for having the most convincing content and highest view count.

The Behemoth has issued a new callout for musician applications for BattleBlock Theatre! Please use the provided application form if you wish to submit a demo reel.

What a perfect day to run through the Music Video portion of the Treasure Hunt! Please watch as many as you can and respond with your favorites. If you saw some of these on the front page recently, I put them there after seeing them in the TH thread.

Music Videos

Tomorrow we'll run through Action and Series, which I had originally planned to cover today.

If you missed the previous Treasure Hunt posts, here they are:

1. Platformers and Run 'n Guns
2. Skill Games, Shooters and Assorted Wackiness
3. Puzzle, Fighting, Strategy, Sim and Adventure Games
4. Comedy - Parody
5. Comedy - Original
6. Naughty and Weird

The Treasure Hunt round-up is based on a quintillion suggestions in this thread.

BTW if you want to keep helping your fellow NGers, SpikeValentine could use your vote for his video "Addison's Kitchen." If he wins, his infomercial will appear in a scene with Jason Biggs (American Pie) in his upcoming movie.

So these are our goals this week: Score a scholarship for Darkmaster603, land SpikeValentine's infomercial in a Jason Biggs film and get the Reincarnation soundtrack on CD.

Agreed. I like pretty much all of the movies listed. I honestly cannot pick a favourite. NG certainly needs more audio/animation collabs. I've been pondering some animated instrument tutorials, but I haven't found the time to actually do anything. Something should be organised, and I nominate Rucklo to do it. He's a pretty cool guy. =P

Is it just me, or do the treasure hunt results seem to feature quite a few submissions that have made the front page?

I thought the point was to find things that weren't on the frontpage, but maybe after a few years of treasure hunting, all the gems have been found?

I front paged some of the submissions while I was reading through the Treasure Hunt thread - they wouldn't have made front page if it wasn't for the Treasure Hunt.

Normally I wait to start front paging stuff, but starting sooner allowed more stuff to get more exposure than it normally would in a Treasure Hunt round-up.
