something that has been bothering for long on this thread is the lack of HOOKERS TIEM. hopefully this will solve the situation
the body motion looks good, but seriously need to work on your boob physics.... shame on you sarcos.

i know, i was all like: im gonna do some huge b00bz and they will flap ridicoulosly, but as soon as i finished the body i got tired and did them stright ahead. actually, i just wanted to take the body out of the way quickly so i can do them breasts but life always take us far away from our initial goals. i promise better boobz next time, who knows, even pussy

Here's a sample of my clock day submission. this is actually supposed to be slightly good. Reviews would be helpful and appreciated.

Oh god, this is terrible.

Tweened images + unrealistic motion + Linkin Park = "really bad"
Please don't finish this.

This is the very first animation I made. It's really crap animation, but the storyline is pretty cool.

You got that part right. The animation was so crappy that I had no care at all to follow the story line.

I wish there was an animation forum somewhere where half of the animations shown wasn't tweened stick/sprite faggotry.

where you could improve.. (in order of importance)
- actually learn to draw
- more animating less tweening
- don't use the line and circle tool to draw everything
- make the text actually appear for long enough so that people can read it

Personally I think you should forget about animating and go find some artists that you really like then open Flash, push N or Y and just practice drawing a lot because your animations are never going to be good with characters like that.

I'm not sure if I have ever posted in that thread, about 90% of my 2000+ posts are in the art forum though so you could know me from a number of different threads.

It's a step on from stick figures, though. And there's no need for you to promote my shitiness, okay?

It actually isn't really a step on. Most stick animations are better than this simply because the characters are actually animated and not just tweened to move up or down a bit. Fancy pants is just a stick with pants and hair but he's animated really well.

Yeah, I've played fancy pants and I know what you mean. I meant it's a step on in terms of drawing. But I've got no intention of starting a pointless argument, so let's just leave it at that.

I don't mean this to be insulting but, learn to draw.

First draw, then figure out animation. You can always do animation later. If you take the time to learn proper structure and drawing foundations, then when you actually come back to animation, it'll be a lot easier

not saying give up on animation for now, god forbid. Just put your focus on art

I am in need of some people to critique my WIP animation, only I do not want to submit it to the dumping grounds because I don't want everyone to see it. Let me know if you are interested in giving a well thought out and thorough critique.

im pretty confident on my analysis skills and im ussually pretty honest as well, i wouldnt mind taking a look at it and review

but ill base myself on where you wanna get to, say, if you want a front page and highscore shit, then ill be overly critic

also make a different thread for this kind of stuff, here is either practice or comments ralated to posted practice

i was looking at that and it didn't seem like there was much up and down action.

then i acted it out and realized from the way you had your knees bent all the time it looked like he would be sneaking around. that would mean less up and down movement but for a sneak the hips would still move up and down, and the shoulders would generally stay put

i'm assuming its going so fast it just disappears?

if you're doing that have the smoke/dust follow in the direction the train is going, and have more of an anticipation to show it's getting prepared to leave
