The ad that they're sending into your brainstem is, in fact, influencing you to not do drugs. We're not using drugs as the only influence, seeing as they also attack peer pressure and so forth... Therefore, those people are idiots. Case closed. Good night.
Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.
Sir, you have just created an illogical paradox.

I'm that lazy bastard who doesn't bother to take down his damn Christmas lights. I still have the fucking kriss-kringle hats from last year!
You know "above the influence" is endorsed by tobacco and acohol companies right?
They say that peer pressure is bad, but they're using peer pressure to get us to do what they want.
I like the commercial with the black chick who tries to hard to be different by wearing the exact opposite style of whats "in"
then she says "does it look like I would let anything influence me?"
yea bitch.... everytime whats "in" changes, you change to be the opposite. cunt. hoe
Is this a US commercial? Are there any videos of them online so us UKers can join in the topic?
hello
Again, the government anti-drug propaganda is hilarious take marijuana and teen sex, they teach kids in High School about how you don't want those sperm to get to the ovaries, but then list decrease in sperm as a negative effect of marijuana, isn't that a GOOD thing? That means if we have sex thats less of a chance that a baby would be made so fuck it they convinced me to smoke 10 gallons of pot to try to kill my sperm. Nevermind the studies being hilariously biased.
Above The Influence is even more retarded, its saying not to do drugs by giving into peer pressure then goes back and says your pressured by your peers to not do them, what if I do them because I wanted to do them myself? I mean I know a kid at my school who take weed or meth before class just for laughs, no one pressured him to do it it was just himself.

Yes its to keep a better PR so that kids don't do their products

Here is one of their adverts. They tell you that if you drink at a party then you become a puppet, and if you smoke some weed you will deflate and be flat and other stupid shit like that.
They think that this will actually deter kids. They should just make one that says that smoking weed will make you gain weight (which is common) and it will be MUCH more effective. I promise you.
For I am and forever shall be... a master ruseman.

dog just told the bitch
The above commet is complete shit so please please!
DONT FUCKING SUE! :D
Because commercials influence kids more than education does.
Yes. This business model makes sense.
They need to make commercials with a bunch of people getting stoned and just watching a shitty movie while laughing, while there is a bunch of sober kids fucking some chicks.
Dont become a lazy pothead. get out there. get laid. Above the Influence^

Thanks for the links. I see they're going for the intimitate "teenage perspective" angle, heh. Can see why you guys dislike those adverts now. Terribly misguiding and not really informative.
Though, compare those adverts to the "Talk to Frank" ones we have in the UK - Cocaine and Weed.
They tend to go for the more humourous approach as opposed to the shock tactics. Though FRANK is actually very helpful. The website even tells you the average purity, price and how to take it safely if you do it, lol. As well as help and advice..

Im not really sure what tactics they use in THIS one...
They call it an "advertising campaign". But we all know it's just propaganda.
Fuck you.
They tell you not to be influenced by your friends but instead be influenced by their signs because if they told you to make up your own mind the world would be fucked.
We need corporations and governments telling us what to do, personal decisions are the work of the devil.

Why can't they just say "Make your own decision"? Instead of goin on about how if you even look at weed your balls are going to swell up and explode on the toilet during your next shit?
Just let the kids go... Stop tryin to scare them into believing what you want, and let them learn from their parents; They have more life experiences with drugs than some paid spokesperson.
