Above The Influence is even more retarded, its saying not to do drugs by giving into peer pressure then goes back and says your pressured by your peers to not do them, what if I do them because I wanted to do them myself? I mean I know a kid at my school who take weed or meth before class just for laughs, no one pressured him to do it it was just himself.

Here is one of their adverts. They tell you that if you drink at a party then you become a puppet, and if you smoke some weed you will deflate and be flat and other stupid shit like that.

They think that this will actually deter kids. They should just make one that says that smoking weed will make you gain weight (which is common) and it will be MUCH more effective. I promise you.

Thanks for the links. I see they're going for the intimitate "teenage perspective" angle, heh. Can see why you guys dislike those adverts now. Terribly misguiding and not really informative.

Though, compare those adverts to the "Talk to Frank" ones we have in the UK - Cocaine and Weed.

They tend to go for the more humourous approach as opposed to the shock tactics. Though FRANK is actually very helpful. The website even tells you the average purity, price and how to take it safely if you do it, lol. As well as help and advice..
