And after finally getting all the lore for the series typed up, I wanted to begin the actual writing process. Problem is, I have no idea what format to use for writing a comic. Comic books and actual books are two separate mediums in my view, and I would think there would be an entirely different writing process. Now, I know there is not just one style of writing, but if someone could help explain the format for writing a comic, or even better an example, it would really help.
Umm, your overthinking EVERYTHING way too much. When I write comics, I come up with the ideas in my head(If your a storyboard type person, do that) and then I write ti down. There's not really any format I use to make comics, I just read comics, know what they look like, and mimic how they are made. Nothin fancy. Nuff' Said.

Well if you want to write a serious comic you combine writing the dialog for the speech bubbles and the additional text boxes (like "Meanwhile...blablabla") with writing instructions what happens in the panels.
Here you can find a really awesome tutorial about the topic.
Good luck and maybe you can show it to us when you have finished something.
Thanks. It's probably gonna take a while to finish though. I'm wanting to write the whole story start to finish before I start the artwork. Well, learn how to start the art work. Art is hard....lol
